(He actually did not have to say all that either). You don’t have the same rights as other people. When they searched my car, they didn’t ask my permission, they asked my PO who then informed me that she gave consent. They were going to get his blood no matter what in that situation. That’s why the cop said he had a warrant for his blood from a judge…at 2 in the morning. How, you ask? It’s a standing order in his conditional release 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

The officer did not witness someone driving erratically and stop them so as to hopefully prevent injury or loss of life due to impaired driving. Instead officer goes "oh! I know that guy, he uses drugs..if I get him pulled over I can take him to jail" now that is bullshit, fucking with these people that have drug problems is wrong, this in no way is helpful to society or the offender it's outdated police work and needs to stop

I’ve always learned that even if you don’t agree with cops or you feel like they’re doing things wrong or shouldn’t be doing what they’re doing, take it to court. Do what the cops say and it’ll be easier on you, then you can tell the judge about your mistreatment. People make things way worse then they need to be
@profile5
@profile5 2 жыл бұрын
This is the way. Even if the cop is doing everything wrong, they are not a judge. They are an employee of the state doing their job, perhaps poorly. The best you can do, for better or worse, is comply with whatever they tell you. If they were wrong, you fight it in court. It might be an uphill climb, but there is no benefit to resisting. If we don’t like that, which I completely understand, it needs to be changed at the top.

I was scared I'd go to jail and be sick with withdrawal so I'd skip my court dates. The month long one tho I actually didn't know my court date. I was tired of being arrested so I started going to my court dates and they told me to keep in touch with my lawyer and my phone ran out of service and I forgot about it for a couple weeks I missed case management and they issued a warrant. My bond was 100k. I got out when my lawyer got my bond unsecured. I went to case management after that and literally all they did was take attendance and everyone left. For a guy who apparently knows so much about his right to an attorney, he seems to be blisfully unaware that the first thing an attorney will tell you once you're under arrest is "Shut the hell up!"

Awe, what a nice officer to hold the doggie! I can understand the frustration of being arrested, but all people need to do is BEHAVE! He’s obviously well known by the law. I can’t understand why people keep piling one thing on the other.

You're a security guard at a hospital?? How does it feel tormenting mental health patients being held against their will? Only about less than 1% of those patients need to be held, the police wire them up before they are transported to the hospital you work at most of the time.

@Abdullah Bhatti Being a "tard" isn't means to holding somebody, unless they're 1) a danger to themselves 2) homicidal or a great risk of bodily danger to others 3) gravely disabled I hate hospital security with a passion for these reasons, because they'll drive the patients crazier than they were upon arrival I am a patients right advocate and sometimes I wonder why a majority of these people are institutionalized, I've heard numerous stories about security antagonizing the patients. Then the patient finally snaps and they're even crazier than they were before they were brought to the hospital

He really didn't though. Saying that the dude can't have an attorney because he just can't and then saying "I already explained it" isn't an explanation. If an arrestee doesn't understand his rights, the police are required to explain it. He could have easily just said "you have the right to an attorney for all else, but when there is a warrant for a search/blood draw etc, that specific thing can be required without an attorney present." But he kept repeating "because you can't" as if he just couldn't remember the actual reason. He also said "I couldn't get you an attorney, so I'm not asking you any questions," after asking this dude at least 5 questions a minute earlier. I get that this dude is a scumbag, but that doesn't make how the cop handled it okay. Everyone is entitled to hearing and understanding their rights.
