hot take.... all these genres could have been the same speed bpm! ie, it could have been dnb into halftime, then glitch and synthwave all at 90bpm! (dnb can be made at 180, dubstep goes as high as 90, and glitch eand synth can go as low as 90 as well!) i think especially since the same chords were used the 3 songs have high continuity, and then energy wouldnt be lost so much going from the dnb to dub portion!

Yes this thought occurred to me. You could argue however that halftime DNB is technically drumstep. Plus, tempo changes are fun and change the feel alot. Thanks for watching :)

yeah thats what i meant! i use the two words interchangeably! although searching for drumstep seems to yield harder stuff (with more riddim/brostep sound design) and searching for halftime seems to lead me to more minimal/spiritual stuff!
