Mata SUBHADRA was told by Sri KRISHNA and not by Maharathi Arjun. The Trigartas skillfully occupied Maharathi Arjun by taking him far away from the battlefield. Duryodhan instructed the Trigartas to challenge Maharathi Arjun and take him far away from the battlefield. Thus, Maharathi Arjun was away from the Pandavas. The Trigartas were gallant warriors and it took till sunset for Maharathi Arjun to finish them all. In the mean time, Maharathi Abhimanyu entered the chakravyuh to save Yudhisthir from Mahaguru Dronacharya. The chakravyuh was 90 mile in diameter. Maharathi Abhimanyu fought till his last breath and altered the course of the Kurukshetra war. Maharathi Abhimanyu was attacked from behind. His bow was broken from behind. Additionally, Maharathi Abhimanyu got ample chances to kill Duryodhan but was holding back simply because of Bhimasena's vow to kill Duryodhan. If Maharathi Abhimanyu killed Duryodhan, then how could Bhima kill Duryodhan. Bhima had taken oath to break Duryodhan's upper leg. Maharathi Abhimanyu was a little more than a Maharathi. He was between a Maharathi and an Ati Maharathi. Abhimanyu was equivalent to atleast 5 maharathis. Thus, no single Maharathi could kill Abhimanyu single handedly. Abhimanyu even surpassed Karn who was equivalent to atleast 2 maharathis. Only foul play of the highest level could defeat a warrior like Abhimanyu. Mahaguru Dronacharya exactly followed that path because he knew that Abhimanyu cannot be defeated following rules and regulations. According to my perception, Abhimanyu helded himself back. For a warrior like him, he could have easily taken down Duryodhan and the war would be over in the 13th day. Abhimanyu was only 16 years of age when all this took place. Folklore says that if he lived beyond 16 years, he would develop such a prowess that it would be difficult for even his guru Sri KRISHNA to defeat him. Abhimanyu was an asura in his earlier birth. That is why, Sri KRISHNA did not tell his nephew the full knowledge of chakravyuh, because that would make Abhimanyu immortal and invincible. That cannot happen as no one except GOD ALMIGHTY can be invincible. That is why Sri KRISHNA & DESTINY scripted the death of Abhimanyu in the grandest and most glorious way. If Abhimanyu became invincible then that would affect the workings of the world and the law of DESTINY. One man cannot have a power equivalent to Abhimanyu.

Another correction: It was Guru Drone who gave the direction how to Kill Abhimanyu, It was Karna who finished Abhimanyu (Actually brought an end to his misery) saying "You fought well, if possible forgive me ". Duryadhan never came to kill Abhimanyu, it was Jaidrath who almost killed Abhimanyu.

Well presented, but Sri Krishna was telling story and architecture of chakravyuh to Subhadra ji not Arjun. While Sri Krishna told 6 level of chakravyuh then realised Subhadra ji is sleeping then Sri Krishna told "you are a sleep while I was telling about chakravyuh" then from her garbha voice came " I am listening Mama ji". Then Sri Krishna did not reveale the 7th kotha knowledge and for that Abhimanyu was dependent on Veer Bhim as he knew how to break 7th kotha of chakravyuh.

Chakrvyuh was created not to capture yudhistra rather kill Abhimanyu as he was responsible for shielding Bheema who in turn was Ina rampage to slaughter Kauravas. As long as bheeshma was alive. The Kaurava brothers were safe however after he was out of action, Bheema was free to kill them. By 13 th day a lot of Kaurava brothers were killed in front of Duryodhana. 13 th day was pay bank time.
