Biggest Solar Storm in 20 Years Has Hit Our Planet. It's Not Over Yet.

The Sun had a busy week. The most powerful solar storm in the last two decades recently hit Earth, creating stunning displays of auroras, often known as the Northern and Southern Lights. This event was caused by a group of sunspots (AR 3664), about 16 times the size of Earth. They released several X-class solar flares and coronal mass ejections directly toward our planet. These solar emissions led to severe geomagnetic storms, ranked at the highest intensity level of G5, marking the most intense storms since the 2003 Halloween storms.
So, what really happened on the surface of the Sun that caused the geomagnetic storm? How did it create such a stunning display of light 150 million km away? Finally, and most importantly, what will happen when the sunspot group faces our planet again after two weeks?

I'm 70+ years old and I have seen a lot of SHTF situations in that time. From the Cold War and the Cuban Missile Crisis to the OPED Oil Embargo of the late 70’s. Don’t forget the more recent Y2K scare and The Mayan calendar scare on 12-21-12. In between all of that, right up to today, was floods, droughts, wild fires, wars, terrorist attacks and much more. Most recently was the Tamarack Fire of back in 2021. I had to evac for two days. Where there once was Pinon pine forests and open expanses of sage and chaparral, now look more like a scene from Mad Max. All of this was suppose to be the end of the life as we know it. I have survived all of that and I plan to survive a bit longer. I might be getting older, but I refuse to grow up. I tried it once and it scared the heck outta me. 🤠

I live in Scotland and we see the Northern lights a lot but yesterday I was in my elderly Mums house and she asked me to turn off one of her lamps ,So I went over and switched it off and it stayed on flickering and i thot it was the switch so I unplugged it and I swear it was still on but not as bright and flickering, I just left it unplugged,Crazy stuff Nature.❤

Hi! I loved this video!..👍🏼 It's good info. that we should all be aware of! In 1989 I was living in a Montreal suburb when that solar flare hit us without being informed it was coming! My young kids were playing in the back yard that afternoon... As I went outside to bring them snacks, my jaw dropped when I saw my little boys running to me with pinkish faces!..😳!? When they saw me coming, they ran to me excited & laughing as they shouted... ""Mom..look! Look at us!"" as they propted out their hands & stretched out their necks to show me their faces! All I could hear in my mind was "Don't panic..Stay calm!" So the only thing I could say was ""Wow! Don't you look cute in pink!"" as my heart was thumping in my chest! That's when I realized that a light pink hue had overtaken the yard! I don't really know how the pink sky didn't get my first attention? Worried for the children, I suppose... Then I heard people talking loudly up in front of the house... With no tall trees to block the view, we all saw the whole sky had turned a bright pink that left it's coloured hue on our faces & discoloured everything thing else! Many people started to show real concern! Some believed it could be toxic.. Some called to God's protection... Those who were just coming out of their homes waving at the crowd shouting... "The news is saying that Sun flares are creating Auroras!" Then I naively said.. ""Don't Auroras usually come in coloured waves??""..🤔? In Canada we're used to wavy, beautifully coloured Auroras except that they usually appeared at night! A bit relieved, I turned to go back in the house to listen for more news on the radio...Seems some damage was done in more Northern areas that were easily being repaired! (My symptoms are not respiratory, they’re endocrine) I’ve never had these symptoms without a Pavlovian trigger before and because I could compare the wave crests thanks to nasa and compare that to my journal a pattern emerged. I could be wrong. I just find it fascinating that my adrenals are suddenly dumping adrenaline without a Pavlovian stimulant. No car backfire, no smoke, no smell of blood, nothing to trigger adrenaline response. The adrenaline dumps match the waves of the solar flares time of hitting the earth and growing or shrinking of energy in current flare.

This last solar storm only produced small x flares. The 2003 Halloween storms produced x45. Even then we did t see aurora to the equator. The last time that happened was 103 yrs ago with an x50. This time we saw aurora at the pokes from minor x flares. Can you see we’re up the creek where the failing magnetosphere is concerned? Minor X flares should not be a problem.

@@nannettecavasin4804 Well, if they are fake, they are faking all those views from the sun, all the measurements regarding the suns energy, and the earthquakes that follow? The weather that is also spawned from the magnetic coupling with the earth from the suns em energy; it's a fairly elaborate scam if that were to be true. The best way to find out the truth is to rule out that which is impossible. A scam of this magnitude, although not impossible, would be improbable, and therefore should only be considered if perhaps people all over the world had not had the best auroral show in decades...it's easy to say "unless they are fake", but super easy to know why those x flares are not fake. They are warnings. And we are running out of time. There is a good video out on that from Ben that he recently put out. Check it out.

We had a once in a lifetime Aurora light show in the city of Melbourne,and Victoria Australia. It was insane. Never seen before that far North in Australia and not even winter. We had a beautiful light show in the lowest state in Oz, Tasmania as well, which is above Antarctica. Magic happening in the sky all over the world lately, so stunning. ❤❤❤

As for recycling. Gas cars have batteries and the like too, the only difference is, those batteries power just the ignition and electronics(windows, radio) and not the whole car. The circuits in an EV can be recycled depending on local recycling capabilities.

New Zealand has seen about 5 lots f southern lights , in the far north of the country . Each display , was magent in color , and quite sold across the sky . Beautiful to behold , though getting caught in a flare or cme , with nerve damage often gettin charged up , to past pain killer releif . Yes it's a coincidence, this is a battery malfunction. Never use any device if the battery starts to swell, stay away from it and let it lose charge, don't plug it into a charger. Take it to a shop to replace the battery ASAP.

An electrical engineer told me that power companies, to save money, have been installing equipment without overload protection. For example, a transformer with the trip installed costs about $200 more. In a big CME the transformer would overload, trip, and it can be reset and be back in service. Without it, it simply fries. It could get really bad.
