Fun fact: The gym used in the movie was actually the school's auxiliary gym (which is why it's so small). The actual gym is where they built the "library" for the majority of scenes for the movie.

Also: in the part where Benders running down the hallway. He goes by a window where it's dark outside when the movie is set during the day.

If you look at hallway set up, it wouldn't make sense for exterior windows to be there. I don't think those were exterior windows. Just indoor windows tinted for privacy. I don't think Hughes would have missed that.

They didn't. It was the drop ceiling framing structure. He fell thru when he actually put his weight on one of the tiles.

I am OLD! I am older than this movie. However, this movie has been listed as my favorite movie of all time since the day it came out. So, I was very critical of your POV. You found all these "mistakes" because you have NO IMAGINATION! No one said Bender went straight from the hall to the gym. Maybe he took a detour. The ceiling tiles WOULD look the same on his way back! I'll tell you the biggest mistake... "The chair move myself" I couldn't even finish watching this ridiculousness. I'm sure it gave the developer some sort of entertainment though. To each his own.

Love this! At 4:01, Claire had flat hair with a zit and at 4:09 her hair was done up and no zit! Clearasil worked magic in the 80's!

At the beginning of the film, when Brian gets out of his mother's car, just behind, in the father's car Andrew sees the silhouette of a dog between them in the back seat, but when the scene passes inside the car, there doesn't seem to be a dog. It seems to be the dog that appears with Andrew in some promotional photos of the film.

I love the Breakfast Club but there are a few lapses in logic in the movie. Like how they spend the whole movie trying to stay out of trouble with Vernon and then the last third of the movie they smoke weed in the library and play loud music and give zero thought about him possibly returning to check on them. 😆 Unless they thought he was only there until like 1:30 or 2:00 pm and then was returning to let them go and let Bender out of the closet he locked him in. Lol
