In this episode of This is Africa Outdoors, we headed out for an afternoon of Tiger Fishing, at first the fishing was slow, but at the last minute I hooked into a monster on the spook!

Hey guys, great video again. Please in future videos, please tell us who is fishing and where you're fishing. Use Google Earth or Google maps of some kind, start each new video like that. Loving your videos and knowledge of fishing and catch and release. Keep them coming. Cheers from the USA.

Thanks for the comments, in future videos we will try introduce everyone, but I still have a lot of old footage to work through, I would rather not show the location of the dam as it is on a private game reserve dedicated to protecting Rhinos and not everyone is allowed access, I hope you understand, if you would like to do your own research the place is called Malilangwe

Well done guys Nice seeing the whole family enjoying the fishing Our home waters are the Kavango river between Angola and Namibia and we have a lot of hippos and crocs to contend with. I believe there with you in the dam is crocs but I don’t see or hear any hippos! Thanks again for the great entertainment! Tight lines guys!!
@ThisisAfricaOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the support! Yes we have a lot of hippos in the dam! Around 60 of them, they don’t normally give us much trouble, they have only bitten 2 boats

Looks like a beautiful place for a swim haha. Just kept watching the video again and again. I couldn't help noticing that everytime you cast in the water randomly you don't get much but everytime you cast near structures you get bites. Fish love structre just a tip.

Why's the reel on the wrong side? 🤔
@ThisisAfricaOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
😂😂 that’s the side most Zimbabweans use it on
@loucifer3233 жыл бұрын
I always say the same thing, Australia, Africa and sometimes South America they're getting better because they have a lot of americans fishing there, but if you come from the states were we are used to having spinning reels with handle on the left and baitcasters with handle on the right it's so uncomfortable to use a reel with a handle on the other side, I went on a fishing trip and the guide had all his baitcasters with the handles on the left it ruined the whole trip, and I asked him why do you have all these reels on the left and he said he got great deal on them, it felt so spastic using them he actually gave us some money back
