For this Ghostbuster toy playset we will be upcycling playset equipment to create the Ghostbusters action features and accessories needed for the giant firehouse toy playset. In this video we find some free playground equipment to use for the three story Ghostbusters themed playhouse firehouse façade. We needed the playset parts right away to make sure the 2nd level of the playset was the correct height to attach the Ecto slides. Some of the action features, components, and accessories we are planning on furnishing in this huge Playmobil Ghostbusters firehouse is a rolling straight slide, tube slide, fireman's pole, a detached swing set, climbing wall, and possible monkey bars. We will try our best to customize the equipment to go along with the Ghostbuster theme. We also plan on working in a Slimer ghost with green slime, the Stay Puft marshmallow man, a ghost Ecto containment unit that can receive ghost traps, Vigo painting, shut off switches, and alarm bell on Janine's desk, Ghostbuster wood lockers, and Egon's lab and dark room area. We plan on posting progress videos as well and construction videos so stay tuned.

We try when we can and its also one of the only ways we can afford to do projects like these. It really makes a difference but it can take more time though its the only down side.

Wow! What a great day. So happy for your amazing score of the great parts. Now I look forward to this whole thing coming together. My dad built a tree house for me as a kid. It was still there 20 years later when I went to visit our old house. It finally came down in early 2001 when the whole area was razed for an apartment complex. Sigh. Great memories. :-)

Love that straight slide. They make paint for plastic. It holds up great outdoors but not so sure about sliding on it. I’m sure you’ll figure it out

You know what else you could do with the yellow slide to get it on theme? Use black and yellow striped tape on the siding like on the ghost traps to keep the look going because if you were to paint it it will get all worn and unpainted with use... The firehouse is looking amazing!

If u go back to Walmart to look for traps or PKE meters, look in ever toy ile and look for them. From my experience they say they are gone but the traps are always in the wrong spot. Just a tip lol

If Wal-mart is still out of PKE meters and Traps, you could try Spirit Halloween. They always have coupon and shipping deals the closer we get to Halloween. They also have the Proton Pack which would be a good size for your little 'buster.

Chris and Gina, what great parents you are. You are so correct about UV rays and damage to the eyes. I started wearing sunglasses year round, winter also to protect my eyes and even though my vision is not so great, I don’t have issues with my eyes and I have very little crow’s feet. I have to squint to get them to show, unlike Clint Eastwood. 😆

Spirit Halloween has cheap Ghostbusters gear. But if I was you guy's I would buy the vintage real Ghostbusters proton pack and trap from the 80's when you step on the trap petal the doors on the trap open.

I can't tell if that's Harrison or Spongebob! Jk, but I have this old plastic slide in my backyard. It's gotten pretty grimy over the years but is completely intact. Idk, it's a little bumpy but it doesn't even fit me anymore. Reply if you're interested, I'd be happy to clean it off and give it to ya for free.

Do you know those types of cars that you pedal? Maybe if you could find a way to make one of those you could have an Ecto 1! And also maybe a sign that would identify it as the Ghostbusters headquarters and it could be interchangeable with the help of mom and dad swap out the sign for Ghostbusters 1 and Ghostbusters 2
