I did the Casanova thing when I went to the Philippines to meet a potential wife 20 yrs ago and actually it did work for me coz I met the first 3 girls in Manila and whilst I thought the first 3 were the top 3 choices on paper, it actually turned out that the girl that ended up being my wife was actually number 11 on my list. Strangely enough once I had met the first 3 girls on my list, and found them to be not quite what they claimed they were on the internet then I jumped the next 7 and went right to the bottom to number 11 and she turned out to be a true gem and have been married happily ever since! The moral of the story is that it's not bad to have a few choices coz otherwise, there is a chance you might never find your real unicorn.

I was only able to meet my wife of 17 years because of Filipina friends. I was totally clueless but some of my good friends that I consider like sisters saved me from a scammer and helped me meet my wife. I'm eternally grateful for friends like that. To this day I say " No one can spot a bad Filipina faster than a good Filipina. I was lucky to have good Filipina friends that cared for me but had no interest in me lol. So that's my advice for foreigners looking for a Filipina wife. First make Filipina friends with no mutual interest and build that friendship. After that just trust their opinions they are looking out for a friend 👍

Chrissy, “there are a lot more traps in the Phillipines”! Absolutely. That’s why I choose Vietnam instead. There are some there but the emotional landscape is not heightened like the Philippines. At any moment emotional plutonium can go off. I’m psychologically minded and a great listener and observer. It’s loaded with unseen risks on a daily basis. I prefer peace of mind and I’m not needy. For me, Vietnam is less risky.

The ´trap´ i fell for was ASSUMPTION: you´d think someone living in abject poverty all their life would have a good idea of what to do with some money... But Filipinos generally don´t. The term is ´millionaire-for-a-day´; okay, this is my crazy story: girl is in evacuation center bcuz a typhoon just took off the roof of their house; i give money to help fix the roof ...and maybe a week later ANOTHER typhoon comes by... and the brand-new roof is gone... I mean: you´re kidding me, right? You´ve seen hundreds of typhoons, but even a brand new roof flies away?! A lot of ppl are poor FOR A REASON, i.e. bcuz they live like children and haven´t learned from mistakes, thinking fate is against them or something. Do not underestimate mentality differences.

I have been here almost 7 months and have not been to a bar yet. Not saying I will not go to a bar but so far, the beer I have drank has been at home or at my girlfriend's family's home. Keep your head on a swivel guys. If you don't know them, don't trust them. I have had many girls I suspect were under age flirting with me. Again, be smart. If she looks like she could possibly be under age or close to legal age, walk away. Come on guys, no pu$$y is worth going to jail over. Stop acting like a teenager in heat.

The issue is not that Filipinos can't speak English, the issue is comprehension. May be what we say, they translate into their language and it may end up having different meaning. I don't what the reason is but comprehension is the obstacle sometimes

What a load of rubbish Filipino are very skilled on the English language.. All the government rules are in ENGLISH, I am with a Filipino family in a smaller province 320klm alethe mother is a valedictorian at UNIVERSITY. They all express themselves very clearly in English. I am a certified IELTS English teacher in Chinese UNIVERSITIES for ten years. One of the grandchildren at four years old can speak three languages, ENGLISH,TAGLOG, and the local language,Filipinos are a very intelligent people if they can get educated. One problem is 2000 of the 7620 islands have people living on them. The family I am with are fourth generation UNIVERSITY educated, The mother is 65yrs old and had retired from the local Mayors office but has been requested to go back to the MAYORS office because of her ENGLSH skills, she also has her own accounting business and works from 6am to 12.30am each day except the weekends, she is also president of the local PRESBYTERIAN church.

A tip is to always leave the bars before you get drunk, if you still want to drink more do it at the hotel. Once I was out drinking dont remember how i got back to the hotel, when i woke up I noticed a bruise that looked like someone had jabbed me with a syringe. Thats probably why i backed out, that I got druged, but nothing was stolen for the simple reason that I never bring anything to steal when I go bars.

Take them to an ecolodge on a desserted location😂 just a nipa hut on the beach, no wifi, and local pre-paid Philippines meals already included.😂 Hagbat House Ecolodge, Rizal, Palawan, the best thing, a 2km beach all to your selves, no cafe's, no bars, and just a goat track of a road. Honeymoon material, go to sleep with the sound of the waves breaking on the beach, mosquito net round the bed, no air con, and only wooden shutters, the cool sea breeze, 50 feet from the beach, and a lit candle in a glass jar. Better than any 5 star hotel.

My wife and I are 35 years apart. We have a great life in Australia. We both enjoy a drink at 5 every night. Guys need to think young and give your partner the fun she needs with her girlfriends, ( no clubbing). Like shopping/ karaoke etc. I have a 21 yo son and she has a 8yo daughter. If I was 10 years younger, I would have a baby with my wife, but I’m in my 60# and you have to be sensible, plus I have had a vasectomy. So no go. I tread my step daughter like my own, so it is cool. We are still waiting for her visa to come to Australia, should be very soon now. Our family will be complete.😊

Hi guys, another great video! I have an interesting situation percolating at this time. I met a Chinese woman on one of the Asian dating apps while she was in philippines. With very little effort on my part she decided she would fly to the United States to come live with me. I barely know this woman and she is difficult to text or video as she seems like she's never available. Yet when we do talk she's still says she is coming. She will be here in a week and is looking for love and marriage. I'm worried I may be being set up as a patsy? She will be here in 5 days.

This does and has been happening EVERYWHERE and will be a thing as long as you leave yourself open to it. The Philippines is just like ANY other country. People will try to take advantage of you (men and women) if you’re not careful. These are all “common sense” things to be aware of ANYWHERE you go… even in your own country. It’s not different. The approach may vary but it’s the same result. Thanks for your content and keep informing so people know! 💯!!!

Good illustrative points. But I have observed many Caucasian men seem to simp the most with a bar girl. Or even poor choice in choosing a provincial girl without noticing red flags. I think it's because if you don't come from a big city like myself and don't have street smarts, you may or may not be a critical thinker. And may not make a logical choice in choosing a Filipina. If you're very analytical like myself, you may make some observations while spending 5 minutes (In person) NOT online, to notice if she's worth going on the 2nd date. A lot of beta male simps make poor choices assuming they're "serious" in a relationship without meeting in person yet. Believe me, I've made some dumb mistakes in my life, but trying to establish a "serious relationship" online first while not having met the Filipina yet is not one of them. Common sense will tell you. NEVER establish anything except a simple friendship first before you meet in person with no strings attached and then maybe you can avoid traps many expats fall into. Especially if you're in your 60's and you choose a gal in her early 20's. Maybe mid to late 20's depending on her level of maturity, can mean the difference between a gal who asks too much of you. Set proper expectations on the first date.

Chrissy/Rob: I appreciate your informative videos and hope to mirror your romantic success. I learned a lot of what foreign men should be wary of but cannot recall seeing any KZbin videos of the risks Filipina’s face dating a foreigner. We are not all princes as western men can be as awful or abusive as any. Personally, I’d value more balanced discussions as ladies risk just as much as the foreign men. Are the Filipina risks just not a marketable topic? Perhaps that’s covered outside KZbin? Any thoughts?

US is cold too except some states. Filipinos like Canada because Canadians are more polite, tolerant and compassionate. Also there are better social programs for the working class. Less political polarization, and gun violence If you Google it, you will find that Canada remains 1 of the top 5 countries that people prefer to live in. Even many Americans would love to migrate to Canada, it's a fact. US is good for rich people and Canada is good for average people.

Filipinos are kinnd of brainwashed into thinking the U.S. is the greatest place to live. They don't understand (nor see on the their news channels) the amount of violence that goes on in America. Filipinos grow up thinking America has all the answers to their problems. Many of them actually think that healthcare is provided free to everyone in the U.S. Filipinos know very little about Canada other than it's cold and somewhere near the United States. They don't realize that the summers are quite hot in Canada and that the country offers so much more including a better education system and free healthcare.

A single mom will avoid all of these problems. All of her concentration will be on the kids. My Filipina wife had three kids. That was 15 years ago. They are all US citizens and the kids are self-sufficient.

3:57 to 5:25 part of your video... I am not interested in kids or teenagers, at all. But your underage 16 comment in that part of your video confused me. I read a CNN article that the Philippines government changed the "Agr of Consent" (about 3 years ago) from 12 to 16 years old. So why would you say being alone with a 16 year old be a problem?

THAT is just a weird story... You weren't wondering why a WIFE would not want you to meet her parents? This is a huge red flag. Define "abuse" from brother? What woman just flees her home Country and marries a stranger? How many years have you been married?

I honestly don’t think you should ever try to win parents because if you look like you are trying to hard parents think you are hiding something. Just be yourself and if you and your girl are genuinely in love parents will accept it even if they don’t completely like you. I’m not saying to be an ass but just be yourself and polite. If you are older or the same age just know that in your relationship you just became your girlfriend’s age and you should act the way Filipinos act with elderly people. After you have a relationship built the interactions can and will change.

I think they translate into their language the lose the meaning. They may know English but they don't think in English. Big difference. The school system is in English only in writen English but lectures are English mixed with their language, hence why they prefer texts in dating sites

I've been to the Philippines 26 times. I don't ever recall seeing an American TV show on any Filipino channel including the cable channels. As for American movies....Filipinos prefer watching Hollywood action movies as opposed to their comedies. There isn't as much dialogue in action movies.

Hard to be old and get attention for the first time in a long time. At the same time it can be said it’s hard to live in poverty. Both parties should beware of each other. Why always warning men about the pitfalls of traveling to the PI. Why won’t any of you talk about the number of women in the PI with fatherless children? Even when you occasionally do touch on the subject many will insist women there want to have a child with someone from another country. Bottom line, there’re many victims on both sides of these stories. I guess one would only have to ask why would you promote the victims of only one side of the story. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that your subscribers predominantly are from men coming to the PI. Careful, if you give any of this some thought. You would conclude you’re indirectly participating in this fatherless problem. If I might suggest, would it hurt to remind these guys to use protection. Of course to stay true to your colors, make your suggestion on the bases there’s an upswing of AIDS cases currently in the PI.
