I believe $90,000 is the largest CJ on the syndicated series with $109,000 on the NBC run if I'm not mistaken. Also, I may have asked this on another video, but was Barbara Phillips the only person to win the lot when the CJ was a prize by itself?

Tim "Ace" Holleran, is originally from Black Rock, CT. It's near Bridgeport. The station in New Haven that aired Sale...WTNH Channel 8 did a story on him the day he won the lot back in 1985. I think in NYC, Sale was on WABC-TV channel 7 before going to WOR-TV channel 9 or vice versa. Crazy story...I was applying for a job at WICC Radio in Bridgeport...and there was this guy named Ace who was doing a fill-in for a talk show after a Yankees game. I was in the control room checking out the board and such...NOT KNOWING THAT WAS THE GUY WHO HIT IT BIG ON SALE IN THE TALK STUDIO WHICH LINKED TO THE STUDIO (A few years ago a tornado hit downtown Bridgeport and trashed the equipment at the station's top floor location near downtown. WICC and a few other stations are now clustered in a building in Milford, CT). I was afraid that I might've used my game show knowledge and knowing about him to upstage Ace. Sadly when it came to trying to work at one of CT's legendary radio stations...it was NO SALE for me!

While Tim *was* the biggest winner of the syndicated run, he is by no means the all-time "Sale" champ as the video title and description suggest: Mort Kamins had won $250,000 on the daytime version in 1983 (uploaded on his channel), and in the 1990s the Australian version saw someone win a Lot that included a $508,000 Cash Jackpot.
