Pretty short-sighted, in my opinion, because their written songs can be compiled into a book and generate more money. The original pad could also be used either as memorabilia in an arts center or museum or be auctioned. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking of "The Rose That Grew From Concrete" by Pac, and didn't Kurt Cobain or some of these rock 'n' roll dudes have their original writings sold for big money? Monetize Everything.

@@jhardi_official366 A lot of them are in the studio together but no one cares to compete with having the more "lyrical" or better verse in that sense because it doesn't pay to. Most of the time it's about who can come up with the more catchy verse that will go off at shows which is cool but it's changed. If you listen to a rappers music before and after they blow up you'll notice a lot of songs that made you become a fan of that rapper, they don't make songs like that anymore. That's mainly because they get the touring and live performing experience and realise which types of songs go crazy and can be performed and which type of songs might be dope but sucks the energy out of the room. Based on that, when they go back to the studio the songs they make will be based on which songs fans can sing along to and go hype for. As someone that's been around the industry I see it all the time. Lil Durk This Ain't What You Want was fire but All My Life ft J Cole will have an entire arena or even stadium singing that shit. Even when I was running around with Yo Gotti and his team, all you'd hear is "this one is gonna go off in the club and when you perform it live in front of thousands". That's what they're aiming for, shit they can jump around on stage too, go crazy or have everyone singing it word for word.

Okay, if Jay don't write how could he remember lines from 5 or 6 years prior ?? ...
@kva50048 жыл бұрын
they always said Jay's biggest weapon was his ability to memorize things and recall them years later at any moment.

With all due respect this is not true 100%. Notice I did say Wanna 100% true. Jay Z route wax and performed it obviously. With respect to big she did not play a rule in these lurtz the I know of and I actually am behind the seas and in the game at that time. Once again with respect to big RIP... He did not play a role in this track other than maybe inspiration. You might think I'm crazy but you weren't there

B. Ford That ain’t no come back cause Pac songs pure Art and Jay was already done in like 10 min too. Big just wasn’t used to the bar counts. Some rappers use to their own type of beats.
