The "PSA" song is basically a sped-up/higher-pitched version of Black Moon's "Stay Real" from their *Total Eclipse* album , which came out a month before Jay-Z's *Black Album* came out ...
@jammanastic4 жыл бұрын
Confused me too, but I don’t know who copied who or what happened, cause 1 month is nothing compared to how long an album like the black album or total eclipse is in the making. So did just blaze hear beatminerz working on the beat and took inspiration from that, did beatminerz hear just blaze working on it or did they just catch the same sample. We will never know.

I first heard the original sample as an interlude beat on OC's Word Life cd back in 1995 or 96. Buckwild had done most of, if not the entire, production on that cd. I remember hearing it back then and wondering why didnt Buckwild use it for a song. When I heard Jay Z 's PSA, I was glad someone used it and did a great job
