I agree that the ratio is overkill but for how I built the Mountaineer it's a lot of fun. It doesn't have the suspension to go fast so going slow is how I enjoy to use it. She's just been sitting on my shelf mostly though lol And yes, this one does weigh a ton, especially since I am using six C-cell 5000 mAh batteries! -BigMike

ok the video is old but steel can be learned from-real life crawlers and scale rc crawlers are different animals. scale rc needs more wheel speed cos there is no weight for traction so you need wheel speed and crawling ability-707:1 is for real crawling but for rc its beter 50:1 with good brushless motor like 21.5t or 18.5t-i want the full size toy ha ha ha
