The new Peter Lynn Crossover bar for 4 line fixed bridle kites. Makes it much easier to landboard or kite buggy as it takes all the pressure off of your arms when flying. www.BigMikesKites.com

I just bought one of these bars to use with a Flexifoil Rage 4.7M kite. I was going to get the HQ X over bar, but that bar has been discontinued. Really looking forward to trying this bar out, looks like a great bar. Great review.

Ouch!! I hope you checked the stitching on the trailing edge after those nose-first 'landings'!

Thanks, Mike, Holland is too far also, I'll keep looking. Is the crossover bar a good choice for inland field hopping? With a Twister?

its really your only choice for a hooked in bar for that kite. I don't try to get off the ground myself.

Hey mate Great video - any tips for setting up a 6m flexi foil blade 2 on that bar. I can’t quite get the set up right. The kite never comes alive.

I just received this bar to use mainly with my 2021 Blade 4.9. Haven’t hooked anything up yet to even check it out but I am looking forward to trying it out. So what do you mean by “the kite never comes alive?” Does it launch fine and fly sluggish or not even launch at all? Since I haven’t set mine up I don’t know how all the lines look but I would say extra attention needs to be paid with the break line length. Ideally, the break lines should be fully slacked with the bar all the way out and beginning to have some tension with the bar in a few inches or so. If you have the bar pulled all the way in and the breaks still aren’t engaging you need to shorten your break lines by adding a knot on the bridle break line leaders.

@@nathanthepilot2008 Hi Mate i Kinda worked it out in the end. Very fine adjustments on the brake lines sorted it out. now flies super fast and alive

@@davethejellyfish7457 Oh great! I’m glad you got it all worked out. I’m going to have to wait for some nicer weather before I can work with my set up. I’m encouraged that you’ve had luck with it with some minor adjustments!

@@davethejellyfish7457 what kind of adjustments did you end up making?
@davethejellyfish74572 жыл бұрын
@@nathanthepilot2008 Like you said, you have to get the brake lines just right. i added a few more knots to the brake lines so i could shorten them a bit more than stated. but too short and its no good. for me it was lots of trial and error

Mr. Big, I may need a crossover bar for my twisters. Problem is it's not on your site? Also not there is no phone number or email address or contact form. Texas is too far to drive from Raleigh NC, so how do I get up with you? Ed in Raleigh

Just bought on to try with but not used it yet. I'm guessing it will only work well with kites that like to fly with pressure on the brake lines (which I'm not sure mine do).
