Some parts that are machine to finish dimensions can't get wet or they will rust. once they are assembled and installed it won't matter if they get wet

Moving pads, on sharp edges like the pallet boards, will help save your tarps. They are fairly cheap at Harbor Freight

The thing about running flat deck your alway learning new and better ways to secure a load and have all the proper equipment so that your load gets there safely with no damage to your equipment. I saw a car with 4 people in it hauling a mattress on the roof and instead of tying it down each person had their window down and they were holding on to it as soon as they hit 30 mph that mattress was laying in the road! Common sense is in short supply on this planet!

If you get that load or similar, place some dunage lengthwise over the gap. It'll give you a surface to roll the tarp and provide a better air flow over and around.

Hey big rig becca, good to see you allmost missed your vid today had a tornado come thru today very strange for. Here ,by anthony t x ,nm down where you ran into carlos. Tore off roofs snapped power poles wires down all over, tipped our screening plant over,went from103* instantly to buckets full of hail 85mph winds, no warning came out of no where, but the main thing ,,caught your vid careful with them tarps!❤❤❤

Use to run RGN and loved every minute of it. Always something new and learn and your skills got tested all the time. My claim to fame was over width, over length over height, over weight that was my specialty. I miss it for sure. I use to run a lot of heavy duty equipment in and out of the bush in British Columbia Canada. Talk about grades..

Hey big rig becca you need to get yourself one of those ladders for flatbed I’ve been doing flathead work almost all of my time driving and jumping down from the trailer will play havoc on your back and knees in the future but keep up the good work you look awesome ❤

Nice job tarping a difficult load. When I saw the bolts sticking out of the tops of the pallets I knew you were gonna get a few holes...bummer. Get a few foam swimming pool "noodles" you can cut to size for future situations. Hope you have a good 4th wherever you wind up!!

The straps are definitely in the best places. The top pieces of wood may puncture your tarps? If you had some padding on the top wood pieces that would protect your tarps.
