Setting up a Forward Air Attack Base for the up coming forest fire season. All those orange/red and white airplanes are fire retardant/water bombers. All that stuff you delivered is used to load up the planes with that pink stuff you see them drop called Phos-Chek. The equipment you delivered appears to be the high volume type used to load the heavy jets like the 747 and DC-10 fire bombers. Awesome stuff.

Side note……did u know those salt flats is where the Donner party in the 1800’s initially got behind on their fateful trip to California. They went over the salt flats to take a short cut and their wagons and oxen and animals started sinking down just like u said ur feet did. I went down the rabbit hole and learned all about the Donner party when I went across Donner Pass one time and was totally blown away at that whole story!! It is a shocking piece of American History. All of Interstate 80 from Nebraska on west is basically the Donner trail. I think about stuff like that when I’m driving, what all the generations before us went through to live and survive!! Anyway……..gosh I’m rambling…..

A few years ago I sub to a man & wife that drove sleeper team. They had a regular route, day in month out. They would pickup their load from the terminal in their hometown of West Memphis & haul it all the way across the country to LAX. Same load every time. That would drive me bonkers to drive the same old road every trip. !

I delivered fertilizer with a hopper bottom to Jacksonville TX airport a few years back and thought it was neat watching the plane come in and load and take off, note to anyone DO NOT drive the truck on to the runway lol

Southern Pride flatbeder Company. They ship jet Engines to airports. The sleeper cab you drive has to have everything in order for you to stay overnight. Under clearance from the airport.

BRB, have you tried adjusting those hood mirrors farther forward? Will they swing forward? They would on my Freightliner and I was able to push them forward then see the entire front of the truck and the sides at the same time! It was easier for me because my wife was with me and she was my remote, but give it a shot... I loved it..
