This is an epoch film. Thank you. My '68 CB350 did not appreciate Million Dollar Highway because I was ignorant and didn't re-jet my carburator for high altitude. Modern motorcycles are the ticket for touring the Rockies! Yankee Boy Basin is not to be missed in the early summer. The wild flowers are incredible. Thanks again.

But rejetting is a great opportunity to find a nice big pull off, take a small hike, and maybe find a quiet tree under which to take a nap. But yes, fuel injection is a whole lot easier! My family drove this route four times that I can remember, but this summer at the young age of 44 I finally rode it myself on a motorbike. The experience was amazing and totally different than the old family car!

Having lived in Telluride for 30 years and now Ridgway for six years, this video showcases many of my go to neighborhood rides. It’s always a little fun and interesting to see and hear the outsider perspective and narration on my corner of the San Juans. I recognize every single shot before you tell us where it is, and occasionally mis-speak in the naming of things, which is to be expected. It would have been fun to run into you on the back roads here, and who knows, I may have passed you at some point😊 I had considered going to that dusty lizard, but having recently attended one in Moab and another near Ridgway, I opted out for that one. You made an interesting omission of showing Telluride, probably because of threatening weather, which doesn’t bother me, but you showcased Silverton and Ouray instead. Next time, you might remember not to miss Old Lime Creek Road , which is the historic alternate route to Coalbank Pass . It’s no more challenging than anything else you rode, but is quite fantastic , In the fall especially. Happy trails to you Ian !

This is such a nice video to watch. For the last few weeks, we've seen horrible storms and watched political candidates try to outdo each other. This video brought me back to an earlier time when families traveled for a week in a station wagon. Listening to Dad trying to sound like a trucker with his new Radio Shack Cobra CB while my mom would giggle at him. Dad would pull the microphone away from his 70's mustache and say in a stern voice, " Come on now, this is serious stuff! There is a pigeon plucker ahead at milepost 16 ! ". My mom would laugh and say something like, "16 miles of butt puckers ? What kind of person says those things?" That was the same summer I got my first knife from some campground in the Sequoia National Forest. Something in your video triggered that lost memory. I guess times change. I think this is your best video. In a way, I could hear Sam Elliot in your voice, a calming tone with beautiful videography, dirt roads, mountains with endless trees. It was Perfect. Now I want to find and buy an old Buick station wagon.
