Looks like it needs bigger tires after getting a lift kit. The leaf springs are cool, even if they are a bit stiff.

I wish you could still get these kits, i want to do this to my 10.2, well only do the rear as leaf as im doing a 79 series cruiser scale build.

I ain't been in the hobby for the past four years due to health issues but I decided to order a new deadbolt a rc4wd blazer body and a few other things this month to start a build and I'm glad these came out cause I was gonna build a set up for leafs on my scx10 but now I have discovered this setup so I'm gonna order it also I wonder if my Terra flex shackles will work with this setup

When you say "ar44" axles. I think you mean rtr axles. The kit/wrangler axles are different, and use the mounts pictured in the instructions.

I'm kinda new to the hobby. Why would leaf springs be better than coil overs ? Or is it just a " scale thing "?

Alan Hafer it’s a scale upgrade not really a performance upgrade.

Personally, I feel it's a matter of what you want either way. I had one comp club tried to tell me how to build my rigs according to what they want, ummm, I'm not changing my builds to appease others. Especially after all the work and heart I putt in each rig, I'm pretty sure most RC'ers feel simular.

In fact, it looks more realistic, but leaf springs aren't that good for crawling. I have the HG P407 Bruiser myself and it runs quite stiffly on the leaf springs. .I've removed the smallest one from the front and the middle and smallest from the back of the Bruiser. He's going a little better with that, but I'm not really satisfied with it. .

Wouldn't it be easier to just simply drill the holes in the arriganal frame to accommodate the leaf springs? Instead of doing a full teardown.
