Best review of the Cut-50, that apparently have about a billion case designs and brand names. Thx!

Interesting you did a review on this machine. I've been looking for a cheap plasma cutter for a while now and I did consider this machine off Amazon. I ended up with two actually. I have a YesWelder CUT55 and the PrimeWeld CUT50 to review in the near future. I'm currently out of state for a month or so. I have never used a plasma cutter but I have done a ton of research so we'll see how it goes. Thanks for the review and info on this machine.

I'm curious to see how they do. Other than the Powermax 30XP I've had for years, this is only other plasma cutter I've tried.

I believe that spending a little bit more to an better machine and then spend $250.00 on consumables is profitable and a time saver

Just curious...what was the price for your XP30? Informative vid. Thanks!

I got it years ago when it first came out. I only spent the money because I had a couple tasks at work I could use it for and re-coup some of the money. I got it on sale for around $1,200 I think. The price has gone up since then, unfortunately.

I think I will stick with my Hypertherm XP30 it is much easier to use and makes better cuts.

so set the cheap one to 40A and 40 psi and use it to make money..... Then waste your money on hypertherm $200 or $1,700

120v did not give you 50 amps. If it's not a dual voltage machine 120-240v then you stick to max 30A.

I was running the plasma cutter on 240V for all of the output testing. When I was showing voltage on the multimeter that was the arc voltage, not the input/supply voltage. It is a dual voltage machine that can run on 120V or 240V, and I was running it on 240V.

@@bigtb1717 sorry then. I've tried 60amps three phase one of those cheap and also noticed that it didn't cut so well for the rated power compared to an old esab. Poor assembly quality, cheapest possible components. Esab not mine though..

No need to apologize, just wanted to clarify so there was no confusion.

Ah, metric amps. That where I went wrong. I'll have to look for a metric ammeter.
