@@moonstone4832 i'd ask how anyone in upper management knows about clown planet and its people, but the painting at 18:00 implies that the clown people will visit the burger crews and likely have been to earth before or have been part of the larger intergalactic/supernatural community for some time and have been considered to be dangerous. their devotion to the arts and the level of detail they put into their work on clown planet gives me the impression that they are very calculated in their crafts, so maybe they knew that they banished Steve to Earth as opposed to the Earth just being where he so happened to have landed. idk though, i'm just speculating with what we've been shown

Have you seen Fleming's channel? I don't think the whole "how extra" convo would even be necessary. Someone may think that Cesare being “the albatross across your clavicle” is simply some random mixture of words, but it is in fact a direct reference to Samuel Taylor Cooleridge’s The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The mariner in the poem is punished for shooting an albatross by his crew mates by being forced to wear it across his neck. Your clavicles are at the base of your neck, and a bird with such a long wingspan would surely rest over your clavicles were you draped in it. Cesare is out to catch Steve and punish him for something, and thus when he catches him, by draping him with heavy weights no less, he becomes the “albatross” across Steve’s “clavicle”. Yes I spent way too much time writing this

Can't really explain what's up with this series and why it resonates so hard, but it's definitely not 'one single thing'. There's an infinite amount of soul embedded into it, it's hilarious, relatable, weird in a VERY good way, jokes hit hard, silly things hit just right, the pace, the tunes, the music... The whole sequence after "back on Broadway yet again" is wonderful, I've watched that segment over and over again, and l think it might be the best way possible to suddenly reveal deep and absurd lore. The stylized firmament behind circusworld, the simple tune slowly stuttering into being before being joined by a choir and then suddenly being replaced with the bass reverbrating all make it so magical. Thank you so much for making it so that l and others could experience it.

Regularly rewatching the series, I can’t help but think about what a tragic character Steve is. Especially if you apply the chronology of Steve’s life to human ones (clowns live for 1 billion years, it was in the Q&A). I mean at 7-8 years old (probably) he received his life's mission, purpose and all that. Then he prepared for the most important event of his life throughout his youth until the age of 25, but failed miserably due to a small mistake and was banished. He flew through space for 300 million years only to crash into the Earth and end up underground for many more millions of years. And when he came out, he was already over 50, he spent half his life preparing for the most important event ever, and the other half alone thinking about how he failed. Of course he will behave strangely, steal stoves, fight with deer and eat guitars, poor fellow😭😭😭

God those outtakes have sealed it for me - Chris Fleming IS Cesare. Even the stuff that’s off script is so clearly in character that if I hadn’t seen it before I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference.
