I've been looking hard at the Fuzion By Keystone units, and the Momentum by Grand design. 2 things you missed on this unit. storage behind the TV entertainment closet, the whole thing swings out. and the King beds actual slides over as the slide slides in. But Great job and very informative. more toy haulers please.

I’ve been in this toy hauler and absolutely must say this layout is spot on for a couple or small family. This is what toy haulers needs to move toward, practical layouts! The kitchen layout with the barstools is fantastic, easy viewing of the tv, traditional triangle layout to the kitchen is very residential!

I agree 100% about the garage space and adding more living space. We use the garage as an extra room for dining and what not as there is not a dining table in the main room.

Love looking at toy haulers. We have a tow behind toy hauler and want to upgrade to a fifth wheel toy hauler. Already upgraded our tow vehicle to a f-350 so now we are being patient for a rig that will fall into our budget. Thank you for sharing this video. Be safe😎

I love the fact that the garage is separate from the main living area. I like when manufacturers do this. To me, when the garage is apart of the living area, it seems to feel cold and empty to me. As long as I have enough room to haul my motorcycle

This is pretty much the layout of any fifth wheel toyhauler. The ones with integrated garage and living space tend to be the travel trailer toy haulers. Theres just a lot you have to consider when getting one or the other.

Lots of us side by side people using toy haulers. Bigger garages are definitely better. Most 4 seat machines need a12-13’ garage. Maybe there is room in the toy hauler catagory for some smaller garages, but I see them getting bigger.

Most SXS are 10' minimum without accessories. Just something to keep in mind. 4 seat models can be upward of 12'-13'.

adam morrell exactly. I love the fact I can still carry my motorcycle and a couple bicycles. That’s all I need the garage for. At the same time a separate living area. The ones that are combined always seem cold and unwelcoming imo. For those who would like to live full time, this is a decent floor plan. For those who are weekenders, either floor plan would do fine.

Take a look at the Fuzion 410. I think that would be perfect for somebody that doesn't need a lot of toy space, but needs more living space. Awesome unit.

I have a 2017 Carbon 35 TT Toyhauler with friction hinges and no latch to hold the doors open. I prefer this arrangement versus the loose door that requires a retainer to hold the door open.

As far as garage size goes I am on the opposite end of the size spectrum than you. I haul 4 dirt bikes, 1 four wheeler, big tool box and every ones gear. I like a 14ft garage or larger. Love the toy hauler we have but it is high maintenance like all travel trailers.

Kayaks, on average, need at least a 11' foot garage. The doors in the rear remove about 6 inches from garage so a 10 foot kayak is tight.

My 2018 Arctic Wolf 305ML6 doesn't have a a latch to hold the door open. I haven't seen any of the Arctic Wolf line with them.

I have the 2020 keystone raptor 429 found out from keystone only difference between raptor a fuzion is raptor is heavier for the bigger toys and floor plan.

Great video JD! I see one of the slides uses a Schwintek slide. What are your thoughts on Schwintek slides? I have a Grand Design 260RD (my wife and I like to be nimble while travelling). The 260RD has only one slide and it is a Schwintek slide. We have not had any problems with it yet but I’m interested in your thoughts with regards to Schwintek. Have you ever done a video on the pros and cons of different slide mechanisms?

Make sure when you remember on these floors they are vinyl floors good I need to put mats down before you slip and fall because these floors search you get water on them they are very slippery there just like ice or oil and water on pavement it’s very slippery so when you take a shower do not fall and get hurt good idea to put mats down in front of the spot there of the shower and also in the walkway because you will take a tumble that you won’t like just like I did when I first got into my camper I went to the hospital drove myself to the hospital

Nice floorplan but I hate that you can't access the bathroom and bedroom when traveling without having to open a slide. And the battery setup is on the side for only 2. Other manufacturer place batteries up front by generator where there is more room to add even more if needed. Have been looking at this size and think the Grand Design Momentum 351M may be a better choice. More room in bedroom as well.

My only beef with 5th wheel toy haulers is the size and weight. Not everyone needs a 40 foot 13k lb toy hauler. I would much rather prefer a 30' to 35' hauler, with a pin weight of 1500lbs which can be towed with a SRW HD truck rather than a dually. Plus, the shorter length trailers can fit into more campgrounds.

Most toy haulers are going to 11 foot garages because their main consumers are sport sxs owners and those are getting bigger in size and need ten foot before you add bumpers.

The TV and Fridge on outside need flipped! Door covers tv it was open! Our current 5th wheel has the same 2 door bathroom and have decided I don't like it! 1 door to bathroom and use that area for more storage.

Oh god, Fuzions. These things are a maintainance nightmare and do not hold up well as a toyhauler. Unless you're using it for more than a party barge once a month, avoid. Its such a shame too. They're really nice inside and look good, but their build quality has always been terrible. Also its 2020 and they're still using cable driven slides. And its only Momentum G class fifth wheel money. Just get the G class, have the awesome build quality and unbeatable manufacturer warranty, and enjoy it.

I can't imagine toy haulers coming with less than a 10' garage. Side by sides are extremely popular and even the smaller ones would eat up most of that 10'. The manufacturers dont want to build a toy hauler that would cut out a good margin of their customer base.

Unfortunately this fifth wheel has a GVWR in excess of 16,000 lbs and most likely has a pin weight of over 3,000 lbs so you’re about 800 lbs short on payload at the minimum... sorry for the bummer news... :(

Neat feature, In Command, but I will NEVER OWN A GOVERNMENT MOTORS vehicle...I simply won't buy a union made or GM vehicle.
