I guess i'm too nervous to drill holes in my sidewall! thanks for showing how it's done though!

Love the SafeT Rail. Origionaly purchased it for our 2019 Mini Lite 2506, but the space between the refigerator and door frame was a bit too small. We ended up trading up to a Rockwood Ultra Lite 2606ws, and had the rail installed on it. It is a game changer. I have issues with climbing stairs, and this is so sturdy to hold on to going up the stairs, not to mention you can't close the handel up on the door. Best upgrade yet to our 2023 2606ws.

An advantage to the safe-t-rail is that closing it doesn’t lock the door closed. The previous handle does. I’ve heard stories of “jokesters” who prowl campsites looking to “prank” other campers.

You've had the Brookstone for a while and now the blaze on-line is structure failure. Maybe you could cover this topic for us. Basically frame flex.

So it looks Like the portion that mounted to the trailer, covered the old mounting holes

I was going to install the Safe-T-Rail on our Cougar, however, after seeing how many more holes you had to drill to mount it, I decided against it. As innovative as MORryde is, I don't know why they did not utilize the same holes as the Stromberg-Carlson Lend-A-Hand rail uses since 99% of the RV's already have them. At least they could have made a snap-on cover or channel to cover their screw holes so as to not make it look like an afterthought. I also think MORryde should have made some type of plastic cap for the end of the rail and not just keep it bare metal as it is. This is more of a safety feature than cosmetic, as when I looked at the Safe-T-Rail on a unit at the local RV dealer, I noticed the edge was a bit sharp and thought that someone or some child could cut themselves on that edge. When I brought this to MORryde's attention, they just dismissed my observation. Until someone does get injured, I guess they aren't concerned enough about it to actually improve it.

I would’ve put the fasteners in from the door side

Not a fan of the safeT rail. It isn't as stable as the old style hand rails and i like closing to handle over the door while traveling to secure to door more. I'd rather have the old style rail with the extended drop down.

I would probably leave the stickers off all together. But i understand why you did it that way.

My channel has always reviewed products from manufacturers related to trucks and RVs. Nothing about that has changed, the frequency hasn't changed either.

I just fold my door handle towards the left side away from the door. It’s cheaper than installing a new overpriced door handle.

Or you could have just stowed the original hand rail by moving it to the left, and saved $160.

Found this comment. Delamination The most common issue that travel trailer owners have with Azdel is delamination. It is the process where the outer layer of the trailer made from fiberglass begins to separate from the plywood behind it slowly.
