I just bought an STX with the 5.0 and I couldn't be happier. Right combination of options and none of the extras that I'd never use anyway. Totally happy with my purchase.

I have a 2019 STX Supercab with the 2.7 and it has been amazing to me. 4x4 works great, 120K miles already with no major issues, I love the column shift so the center console is open for storage. I used forscan to add the keypad and a few other small things. Only thing I wish was an option is that auto-cruise control.

@@stevemcmanigal3410 you need a module you can get from Amazon & a license for the software, it’s really cheap. Then you need a factory keypad & a trim panel (can’t remember the part numbers, but easily searchable). Once you get started with forscan, you can turn off the start/stop, the chimes, you can start up the trailer brakes if you install the module, change the 12v duration, just tons of stuff.

My AC went dead at 1200 miles but my service tec reflashed the evaporator or something and it works fine now. The front seat sucks Ive gotten used to it.

Exactly the type of truck that I will be purchasing in a couple of years. I want a base truck with just enough options to look good, be comfortable, and most importantly, perform. We will be towing a small camper (2,900 lbs) with a fair amount of camping gear. I want a shell and a bed slide, so payload is a very important variable. Thank you for sharing the payload of this truck. Just about any mid-size or 1/2 ton truck will tow our camper, but payload is the critical variable. If I were buying an F150, I would start with an XL and add the STX package and configure the truck from there. This truck would be mighty close to how I would equip a truck. Yes, expensive, but far less expensive than top of the line trucks that will have less payload. BTW, check out the other video from Big Truck Big RV that does a great walk around of this truck.

I have a 2021 STX FX4 with the 3.5 in iconic silver. I am happy with this truck. Ride is smooth and it has all kinds of power. Has more options than my 2015 XLT. 0 Regrets.

You can always add Katzkin leather seats, if you want. STX is the affordable way to go. Very nicely equipped pickup truck.

Just bought an STX 2.7L v6 super crew cab. I like it so far and it’s a smooth ride. I will not be towing much if any, so the engine size was good for me. My preference would if been a v8, but those run 70000 to 80000 grand, whereas I paid around 50000. Trucks are expensive so I was surprised by the lack of trim for 50000, but it is what it is. I care more about reliability and long life than bells and whistles. Hopefully I can drive the wheels off of my f150….

The utility of that truck is probably the reason it’s the best selling vehicle in the US. Ford sells twice as many units as the best selling sedan. Back up cameras are federally mandated. It would be good if you took it for an interstate highway drive of about 100 miles to see what highway gas mileage it gets.

My 2021 STX Super Crew with 2.7 2x4 has the overall average 25 mpg for about 20,000 miles, 60% on 55, 65 speed limit highways, 35% interstate highway and 5% in town. I couldn't be happier for the size and capability of this truck!

I’m averaging 20.1 mpg in my 2023 F150. I have a xlt with the 5.0l engine. Little bit over 1500 miles driven so far. I am amazed by the amount of features that are on the xlt level now.

I have always had large V8’s in my trucks, then tried a 3.5 eco boost a couple years ago. Never again! I am not a fan. Maybe it was just that particular truck, but it all V8’s for me now.

Just my opinion but, I just dont like a v6 in my truck. I would be fine if ford did something like a 4.6 liter twin turbo v8. Thats why I switched to a 2020 Tundra. No regrets!
