Always thought it was funny how underrated Aho was here, always Laine and Puljujärvi getting hyped up and talked about. Then Aho falls to the second round in some fucked up way that I will never understand, I was so baffled at that draft. Aho was the best out of these three and still is.

They ruined his development, shattered his confidence, and comeplety changed how he plays the game. He was not given the same leash or opportunities as others, was forced into a third line checker role and overall, became what the oilers made him into.

You could fit the replays of his Oilers highlights this year with those during that WJC, and the images would fit each other perfectly without wrecking the images. I'm honest enough to say that Aho has made himself the best of the three Finns from that draft year. But we don't need JP to win that contest. We just need him to play his game, and have it fit Connor's game like a glove. The JP we were hoping for all along has finally arrived.

we don't need to win the draft lottery to win the draft! we're so lucky! Pulujärvi AND Tyler Benson?!! that's like two top 15 picks! Benson had health issues all season but he could have easily made the top 10-20. he scored a mind blowing 146 points in just 33 games in bantam. he was the first pick overall in the WHL bantam draft, and he's a local boy! Edmonton has a very interesting year ahead

Now you watch him play for the oilers at the nhl level and he’s just a big clumsy dope that falls 5+ times a shift, the guy can’t stay on his feet, it’s ridiculous 😂. Not to mention the helmet he wears that’s a few sizes too big, makes him look like he takes the short school bus to Rogers Place.

Lucas Robinson Yep, but when you say he in a video about the number 9 ... There's a video about that guy (Laine 29). He has a killer one-timer, but he does other things too. He was chosen as MVP of the WC 2016, he was piched as number 2 by Winnipeg in the NHL draft just before Midsummer.

@@drogontargaryen3428 I'm from Finland and over here the only thing people talk about when it comes to Pulju is the funny fact that the only reason why he was drafted that high was because he got to cruise a whole tournament next to Aho and Laine. Everybody already knew how bad he actually is, including Kekäläinen who had the #3 draft pick but passed on Pulju for Dubois. Because he knew how bad he actually was. I mean.. There are memes of it. Nobody dislikes him as a person but everybody finds it amusing that he was drafted that high because of Aho and that tournament in Helsinki. But what's your beef? Are you sleeping with the guy? This shouldn't be that hard to swallow. And I absolutely hope that he will make a career in the NHL and this season has been a big step forward for him.

Claude Junior Malo Don't remember his style. But this is a big guy swaying, and you're surprised how skillful he is. That's what I got from Lemieux too. I just kept getting amazed by his skills, coz he looked like: head swaying side to side on the hights, clumsy, like he he'd have hard time seeing where the puck is all the way down on the ice. But he was on it all the time.

He's 6'3". He's got wheels. He's got hands. He's got hockey IQ. He's a team player. In this clip a LOT of what he's doing is semi-subtle I guess. Being in the right place for those too tip-ins is not just coincidence. The rebound off the goalies left pad for the teammate's easy tip-in was a conscious play (if the goalie doesn't block, it's a goal but if the goalie does block it, the rebound is a pass). You must be hard to impress...
