Thank you for covering Chhath Puja. It's not just a festival, it's an emotion. 🙏🏼 This video brings back some of my fondest memories of celebrating Chhath Puja with my Nani, Sone nadi ke kinare. Most people from our village used to spend the night in tents right on the river bank. All of us kids used to stay up the entire night to play games, then take a dip in the river to prepare for subah ka arag. It was something we looked forward to the entire year. For me, this is childhood nostalgia at its max! ❤

Went back to the era of Dadi and Nani..... Both of them had left me and now I'm wondering when will Chhathi maiya will make me capable enough to perform this puja. We in MuzAffarpur make khajuri instead of thekua. The most awesome prasad. Thank you Anubhav ji and Didi who were explaining literally everything, without any fillers...

Chhath puja dekhne hum 'chhath talaav' jaaya karte the... we would see wemen traditionally dress and walk there way to the talaav singing... intezaar rehta tha, toh puja ke baad ghar par aaya 'thekua' ke prasad ka... Surya dev, is said to be a living deity... it feels like participating in the festival through all these videos. Jai Chhati Maiya 🙏

I remember jab hmare Ghar mein hoti thi Chhath puja toh yeh Prasad bnane k lie jb hum logon ko dadi maa bolti thi, ekdm excited hote the jldi jldi taiyar hoke sb pohochte the bnane thekua, but we were not allowed to speak. We could not talk much ya phir puh pe dupatta ya rumal lga ke rkhte the. Galti se bhi bolte wqt saliva bahr nikl k Prasad mein naa chla jae. We were kids toh bohot daant milti thi humein bcz we spoke too much😂😂😂😂😂
