The good thing about the bows is that they indicate the color story inside, which is helpful at a glance for picking the right palette. It’s particularly good for the quints, because the bow wraps the edge of the packaging, so if you’re storing them on their side, you can see pink, purple, brown, or blue. Ya know I’ll give them that-it is a nice touch, and I would assume if they stuck to just crowned jewels, the entire palette would reflect the shades inside. I think they did that last year with the two quints. At least the shadows inside are spectacular!

Last years' large holiday palette is one of my faves-ever. That bright blue with the daily shades, just the perfect combo of color and naturals, not just pinky mauves and a great formula! I'm super stoked for the bronzer/blush/highlight palettes this yr bc the lightest option looks fair skin friendly. I'm always excited to watch her releases. Congratulations! BTW, I refer to Lunar ecstasy as the palette I called into being (yes, I’m delusional). Seriously I almost always used the beautiful blues from Decadence with my Bridgerton 1 pinks and plums and said more than once that the Bridgerton palette would have been perfect with a dark blue. Now we have Lunar Ecstasy with that very color story. Mother must love me, right?

Hi Alicia, I'm so glad they sent you PR. I did order the face trio and the quint Bordeaux Bliss. I have a nice collection of Pat Mcgrath, but I don't purchase everything. I only have 1 blush and never picked up the bronzer so it's nice to try it out and I don't mind a highlighter. I do have 5 Motherships, but only the ones that appealed to me so I might pick up more from this holiday if they go on sale. I’ve been on the fence about wanting anything from this collection. I know realistically that I have no need for the face and eye palette because I already have so much product. I was looking at either Lunar Nightshade or Sunset Romance (leaning towards Lunar Nightshade since I have Sunset Romance a million times over). I also am super drawn to the lightest face trio because I never purchased the bronzer when it came out and love the highlight. I so so appreciate you and your content. That last bronze shadow on the right in Bronze Ecstasy looks on me exactly how Lisa Eldridge Renaissance Gold eyeliner looks like when I blend that liner out. I can’t wait to pair them. I know it’s heresy to say this given how beautiful the sparkling shades are in these palettes, but I hope we someday get a quint with all matte shades because I really love the matte formula in the quints!

When I read 'Bijoux Brilliance', oh my, I was so pumped up for a glamourous and dazzling looking palette! And lovely, shiny shadows in jewel tones. Perhaps glittery packaging, but definitely glitter eyeshadows. Jewels are reflective, so something high shine/ multichrome? But alas, this indeed looks like a Bridgerton recyclement. Which is a bummer, they could have really gone out with this collection.

I grabbed Lunar Nightshade and Bordeaux Bliss prior to seeing any reviews. Before mine arrived I started seeing reviews and I became worried because both contain what appeared to be some kind of very sparkly dark metallic shade but turned out to be a "matte" with sparkle which I HATE. But these are exceptional. The base is very creamy and really holds onto the sparkles and in the looks Ive seen people do with them they just look so glimmery and pretty. I'm really happy these turned out to be the exception. The rest of the shades are also fantastic, I didnt get any previous quints so I hadnt experienced these different formulas from Pat before. Im tempted to grab the other two but I'm going to behave. Thank you for another great video!

I love this collection, and got mine yesterday. I’m unsure about the black-based metallics/shimmers. I haven’t tested them yet, but on me in the past with these the color wears away over time and I’m left with an ugly grayish color. But we’ll see.

The pearl content is pretty high, and I found as it settles the twinkle effect is nuts. Therefore, the color might be grayish but as least the lids will be sparkly 😅

That cream to powder formula is definitely only in the quints and we know for sure bcuz Mother Pat said it… it blows my mind why wouldn’t she put it in a mothership cuz they’re already on a level of their own but to add that cream in one would be amazing! Even in the quints she’s mastered her mattes shadows like we’ve all begged for they never bothered me cuz they worked just fine however for others they didn’t appreciate that. So overall i think Pat is listening to the fans and clearly the quintets are lucrative I’m obsessed like more than quads i vowed to get every single quint 🎉 and so far I’ve done just that 😍🌹💋

Ooooo thats tough! It all depends- if you like the special shades with mattes and metallics, then the motherships are a way in. Either 1-8. The quads are great for travel, but I would say the quint formula is exceptional. 5 shadows, all in one small palette.

I've been begging for more cool tones from mother besides MTHSP 1. All good. Definitely depends on your undertone.
