I feel like most of the people in the comments don’t understand how special what a big stamp in the fixed gear community that frame set is.
@retardno0023 жыл бұрын
@@PedalMore I feel like most people in the comments overhype Cinelli without any basis, so would you be kind as to explain why this frame was so important?
@grrttshw3 жыл бұрын
@@retardno002 these older mash frames hold a special place in fixed gear rider's hearts. If you got introduced to fixed gear riding via the mash SF films in 06 / 07 these frames were incredibly sought after collabs in arguably one of the biggest explosions in fixed popularity. That is what makes them hard to come by, the limited number plus the fact that they sold very quickly and were built for how people wanted their bikes to look then. There's more nuance to it than what ive posted but rarity + hype + quality.
@retardno0023 жыл бұрын
@@grrttshw thank you for an actual explanation, I really appreciate it. rarity + hype + quality is usually a recipe for success, but what is 'quality' more exactly? Do they have some cool tubing or unique geometry?
@donnervaix14363 жыл бұрын
@@retardno002 yeah the geometry is semi pursuit. And the Cinelli and Mash Collab was orientated at people wanting to ride track bikes on he roads so a lot of that was taken into account in the design.

If you choose the components wisely (especially the hubs), you mainly need allenkeys as a tool for a fixie build (Only for the chain and for the tires a different tool is required). Was also nicely demonstrated in this video.

@marcellopacifici4 жыл бұрын
