Hello, there are two wires coming out of the fuel tank, one on the left and one on the right. Do I need to do something with these hoses? or just connect and leave the originals. I couldn't find the answer in any video. thanks for your help regards

Having trouble understanding what you are talking about. You said wires, then hoses but there are many. We would love to help you further, so maybe reach out to info@rottweilerperformance.com and hit up our technical team if you have pics of what you are talking about. With pics I'm sure we can help!

Does installation of this kit void the warranty?
@RottweilerPerformance3 жыл бұрын
No. Everyone knows, event he dealers, that this kit does nothing to change how the bike runs or performs. In the history of kits like these we have never heard of anything of the sort.

Can I recommend a different colour shirt, the black parts on the black shirt make it difficult to pick up the shape of some of the fittings you are displaying.
@RottweilerPerformance7 жыл бұрын
I don't own any other shirts unfortunately. We do although have another video shwing how everything works that may help.

Hello, I have a KTM 1190 adventure, lately it started to show general failure error, I ignored it thinking it will go off. But it didn't. Now I'm facing starting problem. I even replaced the battery but it didn't help. I have to tow it to get it started, once it starts it works perfectly fine, but when switched off it does not picks up the self. Any suggestions how to diagnose this issue?
@RottweilerPerformance6 жыл бұрын
Most of the time that just goes away, but you do have a bike with 5 computers so, unfortunately, the only people that can diagnose that are KTM technicians because they are the only ones that KTM will sell the diagnostic tools to. It's their way of funneling all of the service work back to them but some good hacker companies are catching up that we are working with and we should soon have the same power to diagnose but not quite yet. What does removing these do to the factory warranty? Should I wait until the two years are up before doing this?
@RottweilerPerformance4 жыл бұрын
Nothing at all and KTM knows that. They would be hard pressed to deny a warranty based on the removal of that. In their race kits such as the Akrapovic exhaust systems on the Super Duke they even include them and there is no significant change to the motorcycle that adversely effects anything. If anything, removing the system is easier on the bike, as the exhaust runs cooler because of less burning oxygen in the header from the SAS. Your call, but in the last 10 years we have never heard of a warranty being denied for such things. Plus it is illegal if they can't prove causal effect. You are good.

Same... I removed the SAS as everyone was saying it's needed. It's not an easy job either, fuel tank, air box & cuts on hands. Not everyone has new shiny bikes stored away just to make videos on. Pain in the ass! I'll be putting my SAS back on if my flames & pops are completely done. As that's the main reason I got a decat & weight savings.

Hello. I just bought the used one 1190 Adventure R and I do not have this canister, just two wires, one is blocked by some plastic cap on the end. Should I blocked the second one also or just buy this canister and connect everything up?
@RottweilerPerformance7 жыл бұрын
Wires or hoses? If hoses, blow into them. The one that exits at the tank (open the tank filler and listen) needs to be open and to the ground. The other travels to the side of the intake tract and can be cut short and plugged. If you mean electical wires, we would need to know more as we are not too sure of what you mean.
@slufa77 жыл бұрын
No, not electrical, I just blowed and this which is open is going to the tank so everything is correct. Thanks for tips. Take care!

So what your saying is there’s no reason to remove any of that as there’s no benefit
@RottweilerPerformance2 ай бұрын
Not really. Many people just want dead weight and complication off of their bikes, which is why most people do this. There is no power benefits really, other than less weight, which equals power to some degree.
