Hi Martin...so, I've been fixing this old bike and prepared the frame by cleaning up the old paint and the rust underneath, also apply the primer...the thing is in some spot I missed the primer, is there any way to apply the next primer after the first primer applied (it has been cured for a few days)??? Please give some hints Master 🙏🏼🙏🏼

In most cases the coating is even and needs no polish. Just apply a good mixed clear. So you don't need to polish.

Mein bike ist ca. 1 Jahr alt. Wurde von Werk aus schwarz matt gepulvert. Ist das dann nötig den kompletten Lack runter zu Schmiergeln bzw. zu strahlen vor dem lackieren. Der Lack hat noch keine Macken oder sonstige Beschädigungen. Oder reicht es den Lack anzurauen? Danke !

so - ich hab nen raw steel frame, der munter vor sich hin flugrostet :) im winter wird das project ebike angegengenm da muss noch ein tank etc engeschweisst werden. sprich ein vernünftiger paintjob steht ohnehin dann an. bis dahin - primer ohne alles und gut is? LG

@@ams4328 I'm not denying the hypershift looks cool - it does! I'm tempted to go that way myself on one of my frames. But I worry that it will look dated in a relatively short amount of time. Remember all those speckle splash paintjobs on 90s mountain bikes!

Cannondale needs someone to do their paint jobs. They have the worst color schemes of all manufacturers. They're unbelievably horrible. I love mine and was lucky and got one of the last solid color SuperSixes made, a 2016 model, but anything after 2017 is a joke.

I allways wondered why people want bike manufactures logo on custom paint frames. If you pay custom paint isnt the custom paint the thing there. I think anyways that frame is allways more nicer looking with no name, plain paint or bare metal frame. Another point. Q: Do you use black misty canpaint over pace paint to see if surface is flat as class. Carpainters use that metod.🧐🤞🏻👍🏻🦦🇫🇮
