Fair play, Dan was no dark horse to anyone who watched his recent GCN video series on his journey to long term health and fitness. He's been smashing it whilst the others have done much less since retiring from the pro ranks. No surprise Ollie decided to grinch the challenge. Make him do a Tri as a forefeit.

Being around Dan's age, I thought my 5k time of 21:15 was good then I saw his. Although mine wasn't on a flat track like that. I might need to see what I can do without elevation. @Invincable84
@Invincable84 Ай бұрын
@@Foxpark97 They never really run. It's completely normal if you're a cyclist that you will be struggling when starting to run because you don't have the right muscles trained. Same thing will happen to someone who only runs and then picks up cycling.
@Foxpark97
@Foxpark97 Ай бұрын
@@Invincable84 With their self-claimed VO2 max levels, they shouldn't even strain until they get under 17 minute pace for a 5K even with their lack of running coordination. They were breathing HARD and looked like they would puke at any time. It's not like they aren't using highly trained leg muscles to run. Except for the first fellow, they are all literally slower than many grannies and 12 year old girls.
