This video is part of our caravan tour around the South island of New Zealand, checking out some of the best places to ride. I think I may have found paradise with an amazing bike park right next to an incredible beach. This is Kaiteriteri in the Nelson region at the top of the South Island of NZ.

Great footage and content as usual Lance and to answer your question re bar ends. I crashed and slammed hard about 5 yrs ago and would of taken a core sample of my inner thigh had it not been for my hope bar ends. I still have a dent in my muscle to this day and dread to think of the possible without bar ends. Stay safe and keep shredding

Great location and always new trails to check out each time we go. Can't believe you didn't ride Jaws or show us the view from the top of Corkscrew.

I was given some recommendations of trails to do and did all of them. Jaws was not mentioned.

@@bestdayevermtb2 Fair enough. Jaws is a long flow trail and maybe the recommended trails were picked to be more challenging. The view from the top of Corkscrew is stunning though - another time.

My wife ran out of steam on a tricky root infested uphill, bike toppled over, and the bike shifted/slid back downhill. As it did so, she fell over and impaled herself on the handlebar end sticking up. She had quite a mark on her stomach area from the grip end. We rode the last few miles to the end, but when we got home she wasn’t feeling well. I suggest we just go to hospital to get her checked out, long story short, she lacerated her liver and won 3 days in an intensive ward just in case it burst! Definitely an odd occurrence, but those things happen in mtb land. Btw, awesome camping spot, beach and mountains

Wow what an awesome place to have a mountain bike park. It looks amazing place beautiful beach views etc . Then the mountain bike park just down the road those trails look good fun nice floow down hill trails one of my favourites. Keep up the amazing videos Lance always enjoy able to watch 😊❤

This was late March. Yes, you need an e bike.

What happened to the end/exposed section of Kamikaze? It cut from the start of that to the end of the trail.

Can't remember now. If I cut it out, it must have been easy. Don't remember a difficult bit.

@@bestdayevermtb2 it's just after that stream crossing you do, then it goes up and left, and gets real narrow and exposed as it follows a gulley around to the right. It's probably the scariest part of the trail due to the exposure on your right into the gulley.

If you're going to feed birds....Don't give them bread..your doing more harm than good! People need to wake up to this.
