It’s great to be back at BPW for another amazing session. There are so many trails to choose from and not enough time in a day.

Bike Park Wales is one of these places where each time you come back you can ride something new to progress your skills regardless of whether it's a completely new trail or a feature you avoided previously. I absolutely love it!

Been riding just over a year now and still yet to get to BPW. Great video and as with your previous ones it's given me some ideas of what I want to ride when I do get there!
@bikeandbeyond Жыл бұрын
Awesome. Yeah it’s always good to go there with a hit list of trails you want to ride. I hope you manage to get there soon🎉

I recently just got my own Bizango Pro and was curious to know what made you get different pedals? I’m new to mountain biking and was curious to hear what you had to say about it, thanks!
@bikeandbeyond Жыл бұрын
Yeah good question. The pedals I put on are more hardwearing, have better contact and provide more grip. Combined with my mountain bike specific shoes, my feet are almost glued to pedals, even when going down really bumpy terrain. The pedals that come with the Pro are fine, just for the type of riding I tend to go on, the pedals make a big difference. 👍🏻

Still never done BPW! Its on my hit list and at 53 I guess time is not on my side so I'd better get my arse in to gear 🤣. Another great video and keep up the good work 👍
@bikeandbeyond Жыл бұрын
At 53 you have plenty of time, get yourself booked in. There are so many trails there you dont have to be sending bug jumps or savage features, you can just go for the miles and miles of flow trails.

Do it you won't regret it, I'm no good at jumping and drag my brakes quite a bit but loved every trail at bpw, did reds and some blacks and yeah there is deffo not enough time in the day but we'll got monies worth. Been to lots of bike parks and non come close to this

At BPW do you get the uplift then go down or go down then get the uplift to the top?
@bikeandbeyond Жыл бұрын
You get the uplift then go down

Definitely gotta go there
@fyser1. Жыл бұрын
would this be ok on my high end hardtail?? my bike is a specialized fuse sport
@bikeandbeyond Жыл бұрын
Yeah there are plenty of trails that you can ride on a hardtail. There are loads of trails that are just flow trails with no rocky features or anything.

Too many. It’s like being a kid in a candy shop. There isn’t enough time in a day.

Me my misses and our youngest rides with us. We live 4h+ drive from there. Its just simply roo expensive place. Its not family friendly and definitely not priced wisely. We would have to spend £50 for fuel pkus food and bike park cost. £250+ just to ride a bike for 1 day ? No thanks 😂😂
@bikeandbeyond Жыл бұрын
Yeah i know what you mean. I guess it’s like anywhere that is pay to play. If you are bring the whole family or driving a long distance it is going to cost a lot more. But I agree that it is an expensive day, that’s why we inept really go once a year. For me it’s well worth it for the amount of riding we get in. Again, if you are riding as a family you are likely going to get less trails in than you would in a group of competent riders. All depends on what you want to get out of it.
