BIKE PUZZLE SOLUTION

Here I'm going to show you the Hanayama Bike puzzle solution.

The cast Bike solution is a long series of moves around the Bike puzzle piece with the Ring piece until it eventually separates through the top.

there is a much quicker route to remove the ring that doesn't involve any of the wheels. If you start by going over the seat towards the front of the bike then the ring can go down towards the pedals then be removed from the top of the sprocket. I watched this video after solving this myself for the first time in the way I just described it, and I thought this guy was joking when he started to go around the wheels. I thought that the gaps on the wheels were just a red herring.

You can go over the seat at the start but there shouldn't be enough room to go over the top bar. If there is, you either have a faulty version or the ring has been bent. Makes the whole puzzle pretty pointless if this was the real solution.
