I bought one yesterday, and i cant be happier. Owned several bikes, a Kawasaki gpx 750r, Honda ntv 650, Aprilia scarabeo 150, Suzuki gsx 1400, Honda nx 250, Aprilia rsv Tuono 1000r and always found myself wondering what gear im in, now i can focus on riding, have a luggage compartiment and abs, i wonder why you don’t see this on more bikes as an option. Spare me the people who say, real man shift etc, everyone wants a quickshifer (witch is basically what the mana has) and every bike today had a gear indicator as standard, not to mention the thousands of people who mount a aftermarket gear indicator. Why? Because everyone wonders what gear they in. I don’t have to think about that anymore. At a redlight, I just twist the throttle and take off, no need to worry about the clutch. I love it. Wich I got it sooner and I hope Aprilia will continue to sell this transmission system as an option. Too bad Honda now steals this idea with the dct gearbox, and storage compartiment. All stolen from this bike, just like the low position of the fuel tank. Too bad people think Honda invented this, but it was indeed Aprilia.

Had this bike, sold it got a Yamaha bulldog and after that a triumph street triple. And now I’m looking for another mana. Such a comfortable bike, love the dct, storage and looks. Never used a bike this much.

I just rode one for a day.. demo bike from my local garage, actualy loved it! great bike soooo good for a courrier for example. Shame the top end have very little grunt, but the torque is awesum! Absolutely the perfect runabout, and so well balanced. I'm very impressed! Aprilia set the standard in the revolution. Such a cool idea!! Love IT! Mana rocks. so comfy too.

I'm all for this bike. About time I reckon. Thanks Aprilia for being bold enough to take it on. Let the evolution flow I say. My dream bike would be 850-1000cc, an in-line 4, have at least a 20 litre fuel capacity, a full/bikini fairing, a 2 finger front brake, and an electronic auto transmission like the Mana's. Oh, and have a set of large, stylish duel headlights that work both at the same time. And I like the storage "tank" too. I hope the constant "scooter" reference doesn't stigmatise.

This is really an idea that has come at the right time. With the rising price of petral , more people considering an auto purchase will be just as likely to consider this as a viable alternative. The transmission is opening a new segment of buyers.

Ottimo lavoro Aprilia!!! Mana non è stato un progetto vincente e apprezzato a dovere ma la moto va veramente bene e ci si diverte parecchio! Poi i veri motociclisti possono prendere che mezzo vogliono.. A noi piacciono le innovazioni e le comodità di guida!

When Porsche came out with the Tiptonic gearbox ages ago everyone said that spoils the fun. Now its the same with bikes. But I believe it's the future. And I may get one to test it's touring capabilities over 20,000km and a few countries. But it will have to be tarmac mainly.

Yes.. that one was on purpose. I'm glad to see someone actually reply with some tact. Merry Christmas.

I have this bike. Its amazing. Couldn't imagine another one. But my helmet which is a medium Arai does not fit in the compartment. I put it in the back storage box I added to the bike.

Too bad they don't have any idea on how to manage spares and their distribution. If something breaks, be ready to wait a long time.

I'm affraid this bike will eat more that light hatchback per 100km ;) What do petrol prices have to do with bikes? They weren't ever designed to decrease consumtion. This one I bet eats 8liters/per100km. Honda jazz car has 5-6 :)

@ravenation16 жыл бұрын
when I got that correctly he said that the petrol would last for 200km. 15l fit in, so this bike kills 7,5l petrol for 100m?! that's kind of insane I guess...
@jesse101812 жыл бұрын
The fuel economy isn't really all that. Now, the new NC700X from Honda, which is basically a Mana rip-off, gets 60+ MPG.
@connormsova14 жыл бұрын
From what I understand it's about 45 mpg

@Carfagno2223 Its like driving a tiptronic car. It has automatic and manual mode, in manual mode you shift gears yourself by pressing the peddle shifters, it will bounce off rev limiter if you don't shift it in manual. IMO its retarded that more bikes don't have this. At least consumers should be given a choice. Now even the most hardcore sport cars come in auto. Ferrari doesnt even offer manual anymore.
@nivelan16 жыл бұрын
And even then, 7.5l petrol per 1000m would mean you could go 2km before having to fill up again. Perhaps if it had a jet engine! If I got my maths right (doubtful) 15 litres over 200.000 metres (200km) means 100m will burn 0,0000075 litres = 0.0075 millilitres. A dram of whisky is 30 millilitres, to compare.
