Thank you! I’ve put that bike through a lot, it’s really fun to get it in over it’s head and then ride it out! I like how simple the bar end shifters are too, and they don’t get in the way of a bar bag when I go Bikepacking.

@PorterMTB Жыл бұрын
Thanks!! Those ski straps made by Voile are really strong, nothing was moving once it was strapped. I put rags or something between the board and the bike as well so I didn't damage either of them. Glad you enjoyed the vid!

What's the advantage/disadvantage between the bike types used for the activities in this video, especially the handlebar types? I know gravel bikes are all the rage with drop bars, but how do they compare against a mountain bike set up?
@PorterMTB4 жыл бұрын
Gravel bikes are best when you want to be fast and efficient on pavement and dirt roads, but also want to be able to ride some single track. In this video I thought the gravel bike would be the best balance for everything, but several sections would have been better on a MTB. For me, being on the gravel bike makes MTB trails more exciting and fun as well because it's sketchier than an MTB!
@finnbirks67363 жыл бұрын
