Bike Touring Gravel Riding Bikepacking ATBing Dumfries & Galloway Sustrans Number 7 Route

Cycle tour, bike packing, gravel riding, atbing around Dumfries & Galloway. The trip mainly follows Sustrans route number 7 and includes gravel forests roads.
Four day cycling and camping trip in the south west of Scotland. The routes for each day are below:

It was an ace trip that had quiet roads and forest tracks with gravel sections.

That harbour town is pronounced kerr-coo-bree. If your planning a camping trip be aware of the terrible midges in the forest areas in the midgy season. A midge face net a worthwhile precaution.

I have been looking at this for a first bike tour as wild camping means I can stop if I don't get as far as I thought that day and can pick a nice spot .Could you help me a bit and message back what map or guide you used . I like maps but I've also got a GPS. The names of any ok campsites and anything useful I would be grateful. I liked your casual style and bits of information I have a look at your other vids.

Ahh cheers, I was thinking of giving the channel up that is why I have not done a video in a while as I did not want to be seen as one of these cheesy “KZbinrs”. Just constantly asking you to thumbs up and subscribe, but your message has made me want to continue…. Umm what shall I do next? As a video to watch my first cycle tour down the west coast of USA was a brilliant experience…. Oh so many years ago, seems like a different guy when I watch it back. I will get the GPX routes and links to you this weekend when I am at my computer if that is ok? It was a lovely area and for a first cycle trip it will be perfect as there is always a place to stop either in the forest, campsites or hotels and b&b’s.
