@@TretzyTwinsdepends on what he wants to do with it. for casual mid-RPM city riding, the R7 is miles better, but if you’re looking to rev the shit out of your bike and rip on the freeway like gixxer brah then the R7 will feel underpowered because it has no top end. I don’t like to ride constantly at 10k RPM so I’m looking to upgrade my R125 to an R7 next year, I’ll leave the R6 for the freeway daredevils.

Ah yes the signature crossplane sound that can be heard on even-cylinder models like the MT07, R7, MT10, R1. Weirdly the crossplane 3 on the MT09 doesn't have this kind of rumble, probably the firing order is more continuous.
