Got one recently and love it. No more issues or days on the trail ruined by crappy dropper. I love the reset screw quick simple takes 3 seconds and your back in the game

To be honest the best dropper post hands down. Previously i own ks lev and because the way i kept my bike vertically against the wall, ks lev started to sag. So need to service all the time and replace the cartridge or something. Now after getting revive dropper post it's thing of the past. Litterally after one year if using it extensively, i did only once reset the dropper and its working perfectly. No more sag, no worries out on the trail. Awesome stuff!

Ive used it for a year, and its absolutely awsome, used the reset two times, works perfectly

Got it almost 5 months, great stuff, didn't need to use reset function at all althrough Bike Yoke recommends to do it at first use! But I've noticed slow work after couple rides in winter/mud - hope it's only temperature caused issue not a mud inside :D

yuo might need a service, regreasing if so that's normal.

If only they came in a 34.9 for my wrecker - speaking of, is there a beefy dropper you guys would recommend to replace my reverb? Thanks!
@paul--b7 жыл бұрын
Daily MTB Rider they do come in 34.9 185 drop now, the other option is a 170mm 9point8 fall line, prob not quite as reliable but def more so than a Reverb
@DailyMTBRider7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for letting me know Paul! 185 is massive, but who knows many it will fit - time to run down to fanatik!
@bikeyokegermany35537 жыл бұрын
Hey there! We do offer the 34.9 version in not only in 185, but also in 125 and 160mm drop - same as the regular REVIVE.
@mtbboy19936 жыл бұрын
I would avoid FallLine, I had two Race Face Turbine droppers fail, brake failed, air leaked, scratched stations on both, at the same spot, the internals are the same as the FallLine. I have read on the mtbr.com forums others got the same issues, with several posts. I got a refund.

Might be coming too late, but there's now a Revive MAX that fits 34.9...

Stealth routing only? Looks legit and the 185mm sounds massive!
@FanatikBikeCo7 жыл бұрын
Hi E Ranz, these post are currently only being offered in a stealth routing. As many of the new bikes are going to a stealth design these are the post companies will be concerned with manufacturing first. Time will tell if Bike Yoke decides to come out with an external option. Thanks for watching, Brian at Fanatik

considering they are already dropping the valve bolt feature, it's better to wait for the new model if you can afford it, talking more about the lever would be nice

hi, im philip. 5'6"", frame size 27.5 xs, 30.9 seatpost tube. what height of post can you recommend. tnx
@FanatikBikeCo2 жыл бұрын
It depends on your bikes seat tube insertion and your required riding height requirements. Getting a tape measure out and doing a bit of math is going to be the only way to figure out what length dropper will work for you!

How's the lever on it? and price...
@FanatikBikeCo7 жыл бұрын
Leif, there is a small lever with a 4mm allen head built into it and an o-ring that allows it to snap securely into place. -Brian at Fanatik

I have both remotes, but I've only used 2-by remote. Quality construction. I do have a problem with my 2-by remote. Every time I push the button, it makes a small clicking noise, which doesn't bother me, but the clicking noise is caused by the button end of the cable slightly repositioning itself in the cable stop. That repositioning slowly saws on the cable, and after about 2 months my first cable snapped. Now, I have to keep on eye on the cable and look for fraying.

i'm 5'7' which travel should i purchase ?
@FanatikBikeCo3 жыл бұрын
Probably 160mm, but it does depend on how far you can insert a post into your frame. It is worth measuring that first by pushing your current post in until it bottoms out and measuring that distance. Then with a bit of math you can determine if a 160mm Revive will fit. You can find the dimensions of the post here: www.bikeyoke.de/en/revive-160.html

How much is it?
@FanatikBikeCo7 жыл бұрын
Hey Driftster2007, the posts run between $375 and $450 depending on what length post you buy. You can check them out here: bit.ly/ReviveDropper

Why 160mm instead of 150mm? Ty
@FanatikBikeCo5 жыл бұрын
More drop is nicer, and with that post's very short total length, they can get an extra ten mm in there while retaining compatibility with a large number for frames. Best, Dan at Fanatik

dag nab it those IFP's!!!!!
@thatguythatdoesstuff74487 жыл бұрын
Oooh boy. $400. The tech sounds interesting, but when I read the product literature: The highly critical IFP has been removed, and with it the need of perfect concentricity and finish of the sealing surfaces of the tubes. So, fewer parts needed. No need for super accurate machining or high finish tolerances, but still $400. Still, I do need a dropper and I don't want problematic equipment. I might bite the bullet.

Theball Player, I haven't bought one yet, it will definitely be the next post I buy though. By far the smoothest post I have felt and it has very little wobble in the head, which is something that bugs me about the Fox Transfer which I love except for that. The internals of the post are a good idea and I hope to see more posts start to innovate to get away from that pesky issue with the IFP. Thanks, Brian at Fanatik
@7stud1317 жыл бұрын
The Revive certainly doesn't feel like it has low finish tolerances. It feels and looks like a high quality post, and the action is buttery smooth. My previous post was a KS Lev (external routing), which was a reliable post for me, and I could service it myself.

How often do you have to 'Reset' it?
@thatguythatdoesstuff74487 жыл бұрын
Cory Yalowicki I have the same question. But, all the reviews I can find are 5 of 5 stars. And no one mentioned an excessive rate of resetting it. So I would have to guess it's not that bad. 10 seconds of work with a 4 mil key, every few rides maybe? Hopefully the presenter answers this.
@chriscalomino52297 жыл бұрын
Not often I have had mine a month and ride 4-5 days a week only had to reset once
@FanatikBikeCo7 жыл бұрын
Hey Cory, talking with Jason about it he mentioned he has had to reset twice over the last 4 months. Both times after pretty bad crashes and both times he only had to cycle to post once and it was back to normal. It literally takes 10 seconds to reset. Thanks, Brian at Fanatik
@martincantwell25577 жыл бұрын
I reset mine about once a month...even if it still running fine...it takes literally 3 seconds so its no problem. Awesome post
@7stud1317 жыл бұрын
I have one of the "old" models in 160mm length, and in 6 months I've never had to reset the post--not even when I installed it (which the instructions say you may need to do).
