Mission Trail, San Diego E-Ticket. One of the best trails in that area. More geared towards advanced riders, but many other trails in the mission trail system suitable for beginners.
I’m a 52-year-old mountain biker riding a specialized turbo levo third GEN. Filming with a GoPro hero12 black.
Southern California mountain biking in San Diego. Mission Trails Park Trail review. Beginner and advanced MTB EMTB trails. This is a multi part series and will feature all the good stuff in the Los Penasquitos Canyon and Del Mar Mesa including the well-known tunnels, and Mission Trails. future videos will also feature expert and black trails. These are some of the best MTB trails in the area. I have been riding them for 15 years. Currently I’m riding a specialized turbo levo comp alloy 2022 with fox shock and forks, Maxxis tires, the bike is just about stock with few upgrades. I got it used from Craigslist for $3600.
Filming on a GoPro hero12 black with a max lens mod 2.0. I will be producing more videos of other great riding areas in the near future.

San Diego has trails that will please all riders from the most beginner to those seeking more adventure. Experiences can be had from the coast, to the inland foothills to the wooded forests of Mount Laguna to the Anza Borrego Desert. Most riding areas in San Diego are a combination of singletrack and fireroads to provide connectivity. Head to Penasqutios Canyon and you'll find a variety of trails that are good for beginner and intermediate riders. Head to Black Mountain if you like the more rocky, technical trails with healthy dose of elevation, and go to Lake Hodges (San Dieguito River Park) if you're into a mix of the aforementioned riding areas. A little over an hour from downtown San Diego will get you to the Cleveland National Forest, featuring Noble Canyon, one of SoCal's best downhill trails. Cuyamaca State Park also offers some awesome singletrack and vistas as well.
