The Source to Sea Trail for the 2025 event is a 725km bikepacking route that connects bridleways, drovers lanes and country lanes along the high ground where 10 of Yorkshire's finest rivers rise and flow.
The 2025 route has edited out a long loop within the Dales that went along the Wharfe and Skirfare.
The 2025 event has a start date of Saturday 4th May with a mass start at 7.30am from the Event Hub at Mytholmroyd Community Centre in the Calder Valley, West Yorkshire. The 725km route leaves Hebden Bridge and heads to Horton and then due north to Hawes along the Cam High Road (bridleway).
Along the way we journey across the moors where rivers such as the Ure, Swale, Esk, Nidd, Wharfe and Aire rise and then out onto a beautiful stretch of the coast before crossing the broad floodplain to return to the starting line for pie n peas and the embroidered cloth badge!.
