Congrat! Im about to start the peru divide and I have a question: did you find gaz can for your stove on the way?

The alcohol was easy to gind on the way or you took all of it from Huaraz?

where do you get water in the middle of the mountains? from the lakes? (if yes,do you do some treatment to the water?)

I take it straight from the river or stream. The water has been fresh and I haven’t had any problems. I do have a sawyer water filter if I think the water isn’t too clean.
