I passed you yesterday on trans Pennine Trail at Woodhead Res. That white handle bar bag you can see for miles and I think it’s unique to you. I ended up doing the reverse route to you, back to Glossop. Great vid. Thanks.

Great stuff, I'll be out that way again soon. I just bought a MTB, there's only so much of the peak district a gravel bike can reach so it'll be interesting to see what else is out there. I am particularly interested to see what the link between the Slippery Stones bridge at Derwent Water up to the Transpennine Trail is like; always wanted to ride out that way.

Hi, you’ve implied that this route is best suited to a mountain bike, but how doable would this route be on a Mason ISO (which is really a rigid drop bar mtb)?

Yes totally doable on an ISO. I've ridden some of the rougher sections on my ISO, you just have to go a bit more slowly and carefully then on a mtb.

Just had a hiplock zip tie style lock… mainly to stop the bike being wheeled off. Generally I make sure it’s in sight all the time if I can
