A spare gear cable fits nicely in the stem of the bike. Take the bars off and you have a nice little cubby for a cable to stash away in.

Looks like fun, but gravel,, its funny what people call gravel, in Michigan we have 1/4 of our roads are gravel roads, many states have mostly paved roads, we a very lucky to have all these roads. We have two tracks (fire roads, to fight fires) also, (more like what you're riding) those are not maintained by the state, just roads through the country. Plenty of wild life, and rivers/lakes,, gravel bikes are great fun, they have replaced many peoples road bikes here, its much safer dodging pot holes, not cars.. We have plenty of gravel races, cross state adventures, and much more.. enjoy your gravel bikes.. I'm going for a ride today, temp now 6f, going up to 28f roads are snow packed, i'll get 20 or 30 miles, in 2 or 3 hours around Ann Arbor, Michigan area..on maintained gravel roads.

Hi Katie, thanks for making this video. I really loved the landscapes and the positive vibes. I'd like to ask you about the Tailfin. Did you find the bike unbalanced when riding, especially uphill, with all the weight on the back? This summer I cycled from Helsinki to Rovaniemi and I had to re-route a big part of my trip from gravel to state roads because of how unstable my bags were (both from a well-known British company which name starts with R). I'm considering replacing the saddle bag with a Tailfin rack and the handlebar bag, where I put sleeping bag and mat) with one or two small Tailfin panniers. How big is the dry bag where you had the tent in? Thank you, cheers from Finland!
