I’ve been using a Da Brim for touring since 2012 when they first started making them. Lifesavers and conversation starters for sure!

Da Brims ROCK! Of course “serious” roadies give me all sorts of crap about it, but that’s half the fun…annoying the watt obsessed weight weenies.😂

Shoutout to Da Brim:: It seems like every summer at some point I'd miss a spot with sun-lotion and my face, ears, or neck would get a sunburn. Since using da brim that has not been the case. This was the first year I managed to go the whole summer without a single even minor sunburn anywhere on my body. Bonus: Less glare in glasses. It's not the most areo, but for the majority of the riding I am doing, aero takes less priority (slow, and steady) I am impressed with how much I appreciated Da Brim.

Ive been pleased with the ortileb 11 litre saddle bag this year which fits nicely on a dropper post and has elastic straps to put stuff ontop 🙂

Love Rogue Panda gear. Didn’t know about the Blue Ridge. I have been very happy with my Canelo, but may add the new one to my kit if I ditch my cut down aero bar.

Loved the Canelo, but I dont think I'll ever use it again with the blue ridge in hand.

My fav gear this year is a Pinion internal gear box. Never greasing a chain or fixing a derailleur again in my life.

Internal gearboxes with a belt. With one decision you go from a whole set of maintenance and tool decisions & todo’s to “I can change gear when the bike is stopped”.

@@TheRflynn Internal gears are a stellar upgrade in city riding, never have to plan ahead to gear down for a light or fumble in a hard gear at an unexpected stop.

I like very much Decathlon roll top full frame bag which is fully waterproof quite stiff, has a very reasonable price and fits perfectly to my M size carbon MBT Sensa bike.

I'm a big fan of these small camp chairs, so there's that. The Slingfin looks great, but I went with the Durston X-Dome. Just got it and looking forward to giving it the run through. Otherwise Da Brim looks sensible. Do the dragonfly decoys really work?

Favourite piece of gear picked up this year: Beeline Vélo 2. I wanted a minimalist, no frills gps and have been quite enamoured with it. I’ve also moved 1:1 my gear from my gravel bike to my fat bike and have made it a tank of a bikepacking machine for those sandy fireroads. The Corvus LCG + rack v2 was the only fatbike rack that had mounts for water bottle cages. As well, the Bobby Bar handlebar with a 30 degree sweep is just excellent. Thanks for the list, always appreciated to get that step back and understand how you approach gear reviews!

240 for the harness.....All this gear is ridiculously priced. The bike industry has collectively lost its mind! $ 🤪$
@Johnwis-gp9yy6 сағат бұрын
And the point of your comment is …well, nothing. There are much cheaper options. Plastic ones usually and mor buky. Buy that if Blue ridge is too expensive. You have options bike industry gave you. Blue Ridge is amazing btw, most other options are far inferior.

Da Brim! I am dying! This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Inspired by the Last Samurai.
