Yall F'D UP!!! They were willing to give you a chance to ride with them!!! I started an oilfield MC and we ride a lot! The first time we encountered the Hell's Angel's was at Twin Peaks OKC. They questioned us about our patch and we explained it was a group of oil workers who love riding. They were the nicest guy's after that!!!!! They actually kept giving us respect for the hard work we do. We rode with them after that for about 150 miles. We stopped, we all shook hand's and we parted way's. A year and a half later we were in Midland TX at that Twin Peak's. 7 Hell's Angel's pulled up and knew exactly who we were lol. They sat with us and we got drunk as hell lol. Great guy's through and through!!!!

Lifetime rider here. I only rode with HA one time crossing the Sierras. I stayed well back and next rest got invited to ride with them. I was worried because I was on my BMW GS...not a Harley. But HDs are just not fast in the curves...it was easy to keep up really. Salt Canyon is a nice sweeper road btw. Check that out sometime. The guys that bailed were right; if you cannot keep up, slow down. Trying to ride above your ability is the cause of lots of bad outcomes.

I mean honestly those corners are banked just perfect to let of the throttle a little and right when you dip in go balls deep. I love riding fast and hitting the corners and making Sparks fly from my floorboards, I go through a set of floorboards in a month and a half and I'm on a electric glide ultra classic with the shocks pumped all the way up cause I'm a big guy. I've had people in cars freaking out and stopping me cause they think something is wrong with my bike.

Ive been riding since 18 Im 46 now. I learned how to handle twistys on a sport bike then switched back to a cruiser. I recommend the same if you cant keep up. Or do a few track days. you might need to modify your bike so its not so low or wide. All or nothing if youre truly crazy.

I donno, I just struggle to ride slow. I always tell my buddies, "look, I don't fuck around, I enjoy riding fast and long time in the saddle", One year I rode from Rapid City to the border of Indiana, never got off the bike, gassed from the saddle, and truthfully, pissed from the saddle (it was raining cats and frogs, so it washed away) lol and I showered at a hotel on the Indiana border (1100 miles). If you lay it out how you ride before you start, then I could never understand where the bitching came from. Lost a few buddies because they just didn't get it.

ONE %er people just know how to ride period,, side by side on the straights , and stagger on turns so everyone has room in case someone has tire drift,, in tight grip it and rip it ,, in spread out slow down ,, and don’t fixate on the bike in front of you.. thats why i only ride with peeps i trust ,, been riding all my life ,some with clubs some alone , but that rule has served me well and i made it to 53yrs old so sticking to it...

I once worked in a ortho step down unit (motorcycle accidents, people beat up with bats, nasty fork lift accidents) as an RN. I had a biker that refused to eat. His reasoning- we had to roll him over to put him on a bedpan. Not an easy thing to do with one leg and both hips pinned and caged. Moving him was so painful he was willing to starve to death. That was 20 years ago when pain control was much more liberal than it is today. My 2 cents, for what it’s worth. Don’t fuck up.
