Nice one, Jeff. It wasn't in reference to Janner Fox, but it might as well could be - castles would be too fancy for him. Though he is known for residing in a Gin Palace many moons ago, but not as a king - more a bar steward! You should ask him about it, it is a great story involving a man named after an elephant and dancing with donkeys. That outfit (The Gin Palace Bar stewards) still exists and they still roam the Irish roads raising funds for charity and licking ice creams. 😁

An exciting new topic for your evergreen channel, SB, with some cracking pictures. I'll have to get my rear end out of the chair and, weather permitting, seek out somewhere unusual. I do like ER's bus stop but our local one is more flavourful with slime and moss growing all over it.

Very nice Jeff. I didn't give you any context to any of my pictures but there isn't much of a story to any of them, truth be told. If you watch tomorrow's video of me taking the pictures for you, you will get a little bit of context. But I am basically just keeping things nice and simple for you. None of my pictures have an interesting story, so you can just flash them up and say "Something, somewhere in Spain" and job done. You won't even have to pull over 😂 I'm kind like that ! Cheers you two, have a great week ! Us two ❤🐕

What a great idea this was for a series of videos and it's fabulous to see everyone getting onboard. OK Steve I'm getting your sense of humour but at least give us a bit of the history behind this fully restored ancient bus stop. Did David Livingston use it as a stop off in his coach on the way to voyages of discovery? Did Queen Victoria stop in it for a " quickie" ( swig of Lochnagar malt😉😊) with John Brown on their way to her Highland retreat 🤔 Or did David Attenborough hide in the bushes and document the not so secretive mating rituals of the local bird life 😂

Some beautiful photos sent in. Carol turns around when she sees grass growing down the middle of the road! Thanks for showing us what we've been missing. It's surprising to still find abandoned houses in the countryside that haven't been snapped up, done up and turned into an air B&B. Fab photo, it almost looked like an old WW2 shot.

Yes I’m over the moon with the photos I’ve been sent, some real beauties. Well, I can’t say I blame Carol. Probably the sensible thing to do. You’re right about the abandoned houses.
