Thanks for organising a cracking ride. I think you hit the nail right on the head with it, Enough nadgery and slippery bits to interest the Green Laners, Close, but not too close to Green Laneing for the road riders. I'm so glad that I could come, a not to be missed event! Everything went well, the weather was kind considering the previous day, everyone played their part well with the 'drop off' and a great bunch of lads. Maybe something similar again? Please? 🙂 Wasn't it odd how most of us turned up way too early ? Ah thanks to you for being there and being a part of it. I’m so glad you could come along. I’m definitely interested in doing a few more of these short notice socials seeing how successful this one was. The plus side to hanging around for ER was that Mike (BSA Bantam) made it to the gig. Ah thank you Paul. If it softens the blow, it was an awful day. The coldest wind I can remember, nobody spoke to each other, nearly everyone fell off and we met some really angry farmers. All the bikes fell to pieces the following day and we’re all being investigated for unspeakable actions. You would have hated every minute 🤪 Oh I loved that Bantam too. Ummm…guilty as charged, ma Lord 🤭 Yes there were some very challenging sections. Everyone that came along had to deal with very little grip and really be on their game. Centurion was unfortunate - new bike, so not familiar with its power delivery, and rubbish tyres (couldn’t wait to get the OE’s off mine), maybe not the best line choice either. But honestly, I’m surprised there wasn’t more spills. A brilliant day though, spent with great people who generated a thoroughly enjoyable atmosphere. Many thanks Jim, all the very best.

Watched all versions of the riders - such a great vibe. Reality with the crash too. Can see why the himmy is king around there. Recently been riding my e bike and going over the leaves and trees a thick twig got in my rear spokes and took the wheel out every spoke. 15 miles from home. Puncture kit yes wheel rebuild out my league. I love vlogs where there’s a plethora of different bikes and they all do it. That little suzuki addres and the anf 125 which i once owned and rode 77k in 12 yrs purely commuting and sold it in lovely condition and running sweetly

Yes, what a memorable day. Challenging in parts, beautiful weather (luckily) and countryside for my “comeback ride”. And, I met Tim Wakeham who, spookily, only lives a mile or two from me in Newton Abbot! I am trying to make contact with him for future ride outs, etc. Helen watched the video with me and loved it. We’d like to try to retrace the route on the small bikes sometime, so what were the waypoints (if you can remember), please? Anyway SB’s, keep the vids coming. All the best, my friend 👍 😊.

A great idea for a group ride Jeff, a slightly more challenging, "expect to get your bike dirty", sort of social ride. So good in fact that I can forgive the disappointing lack of bin action ! Very nicely filmed by you and Mark ( looked like his glasses were steaming up with the excitement of it all ! ) and beautifully put together by you as always. It was great to see Exmouth drifting his Meteor, that was indeed epic footage, he did well to hang on to it. Great to see Ken, Mister Dave and Heath amongst many other reprobates and I am gutted that I couldn't be there. Right, now I'm off to view Steve's video of the Exmouth Illuminations.
