SUSHI-SUKI - A sushi inspired Suzuki GSXR mash-up by Sticky's Speed Shop.

When we ran a reel of Sticky's Speed Shop's Sushi-Suki (sashimi) rolling into Bike Shed London, well it went down pretty well, it was our most saved socials reel... ever.
So if you were one of the many that wanted to know a bit more about this '89 Suzuki GSXR750 Slingshot with side draft carb coverted GSXR1000K1 motor and sushi inspired graphics by @ryanroadkill... This is the vid for you.

What a piece of awesome engineering. I love the challenge of the retrofit. I remember back in the day of 7-11 conversions using the 1100cc engine and placing it into a 750 frame but this is another huge leap forward. Cool as F#&k 👍👍

Stand out bike of the show. IMHO. I'am an old giffer with a Guzzi. But that Suzuki just gets better the more you look at it. Not a bad angle in sight and you do need shades to look at it! But that is good. Tip Top custom.

Let's not get carried away. Back in the day I had the very unfortunate pleasure of riding a 1100 slingshot. OMG they are a pile of crap. Those 1100 engines are as heavy as a Sherman tank and there is nothing you can do to make them handle , no amount of ohlins or race parts will cure what is basically a lead weight .when Suzuki brought out the gsxr srad , now that was a game changer in terms of handling and performance. Made the slingshot look like a dinosaur. But even that now is dead in the water. The more modern bikes are just way and beyond in terms of looks, handling, performance, this bike is basically just an ornament for old men and people stuck in a time warp to look at 😂😂
