BikeYoke REVIVE/DIVINE - 100hr lower tube service
ATTENTION!
This video is not exhaustive and does not necessarily show or describe all required steps to perform a complete and successful lower tube service. This video and description serves as a guide and aid only.
Any work, performed by the customer, is performed at its own risk.
Required tools:
• 7mm wrench
• 13mm wrench
• torque wrench
• lock ring pliers
• brush
• thread locker (medium)
• Clean, lint-free towel/paper towel
Suitable lubricants:
• suspension grease (R.S.P. Slick Kick, Buzzy´s Slick Honey, KS Post Paste oder Rock Shox Butter) for lower tube and wiper
• heavy duty grease for lower actuator
IMPORTANT NOTE:
You do NOT need to release air pressure to service the lower tube!
1. Keep the post upright during all steps following below
2. Perform a proper reset (REVIVE) of the post and then re-extend the post
3. Wait for 30 seconds, so that oil can drain down inside the upper tube
4. Remove saddle clamps and the valve cap
5. Attach and use air adapter and pump, to check/and or regulate air pressure. If you need to release, release pressure slowly. Quick release of air may cause oil loss.
Make sure you only gently tighten the adapter. Tightening the adapter too firmly can cause the valve to get stuck and cause unwanted air/oil release.
6. Set the pressure to recommended 260psi
7. Detach pump and adapter, making sure, there is no pressure loss during detachment
8. Reinstall valve cap and saddle clamps
LOWER TUBE SERVICE:
1. Remove outer circlip
2. Pull the post foot out from lower tube, or push lower tube towards post head.
3. Unthread the foot from shaft, using a 7mm and 1mm wrench. Properly clean foot part and plunger inside the foot part. Properly grease plunger, using suspension grease.
4. Pull out push-rod from shaft. Remove and clean bottom-out o-ring and foam ring.
5. Protect shaft from tool contact using tape.
6. Remove circlip from cartridge sealhead. Remove tape.

10. Insert upper tube into lower tube, align and insert guiding pins.

15. Carefully degrease thread in foot part. Reattach foot part onto shaft: Torque 3.5~4Nm.
16. Slide lower tube over foot part and secure with outer circlip. Make sure, circlip is secured properly.
17. Grease lower actuator assembly lever in-and outside, using heady duty grease.
