Hi there, originally the structure you say was for ferries was for the landing craft of the cruise ships that would stop off at the beach. The little structures you found where the cows were allowed locals from the island and surrounding islands to set up shop and sell there wears to the tourist who came to the beach for a day. Then after the cruise ships had left island life went back to normal.

Bobby - nice to hear some of the natural sounds of your passage (the waves hitting the bow, the wind in the sail) and turning down the music a little, like you did. Try to work in some more sounds of the voyage rather than a music soundtrack. It makes it more real. Maybe the music in the background for this and then music up front for drama when you need it. Love following the journey. Best wishes from Cincinnati.
@Sailingdoodles6 жыл бұрын
Yeah audio is often hard to get on the boat because of wind noise and sometimes engine noise. I just bought some new equipment which should expand the coverage of our sailing footage... it will be a while before they show up in the filming though.
@silverlicious20866 жыл бұрын
Can understand the engine noise. Maybe when you get the new gear up and running you can pick some spots for some cool natural audio. Other than that, you do a very good job on the edits. Thanks Bobby.

BTW, very enjoyable video, made to the usual great standard. Remember to hit the Like button. And if you don't like it, just don't bother. How anyone can dislike a video of this type so much as to hit the Dislike button, is slightly beyond me? It is inoffensive, at worst. Anyway, I thought it was nice.
@Sailingdoodles6 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks! Actually I had this video uploaded and going then KZbin “demonetized” it because their algorithm thought it found something bad in it. Had to delete it and reupload. KZbin will review and remonitize a video but it takes them a day and we lose monetization on all the views for the first day.
@ramblerandy23976 жыл бұрын
@@Sailingdoodles Yes, I got the notification of the original upload. I assumed YT's algorithm found something that only YT would care about enough to demonitise it. Ho hum. These are the little annoyances that online life sends to remind one that we must not take all this capability for granted. 😁
@vickiwhite63746 жыл бұрын
Andy, if someone dislikes the video, it almost certainly has to be personal in my opinion. Someone that does not wish success for Sailing Doodles or has a beef with someone on board. When you see a dislike within seconds that is all it could be. I'm sure the crew could probably guess at who might want to dislike.
@ramblerandy23976 жыл бұрын
@@vickiwhite6374 Yep, I would agree with that. I'm an ex-YTer myself and found a few friends in the upload community. One or two of them have whole tribes of haters and they do nothing but provide very enjoyable and inoffensive videos. Their crime? They are very successful.
