You're like the Bob Ross of Touch Designer and it's awesome! Thanks for the tutorials, I've only just started but it is so easy to adapt your methods to my own ideas.

this was fun!! thanks heaps!! to set the resolution of the operators, I usually set a resolution to my parent container (like you do at the beginning of the video, 1920x1080), and then in all the operators that require to have that same resolution I type in the resolution parameters: me.parent().par.w and me.parent().par.h to recall the parent width and height. That way, if for any reason I need to change the resolution of my work, I just need to change the resolution of the parent container, and all the operators inside that container will follow that change automatically, instead of having to remember which operators were supposed to have a specific resolution, and then manually go and change them all. This solution works well for me, especially when dealing with large networks.

Hi Bileam, thanks for another nice video. One question: why not use the High Frequency Boost setting in the Audio Spectrum CHOP?
@elekktronaut5 жыл бұрын
nidavis I do use that but with the Para EQ I feel more in control. Maybe I’m wrong though, I don’t know too much about it tbh

Hi! Is it possible to connect such code to the dj`s playlist to make an interactive visual performance for the set? I`m just a beginner and also can`t find this info in google. Thanks!
@gazolinshitsa5 жыл бұрын
And also is this code compatible with kinect? So many questions)))
@IIkarysan5 жыл бұрын
@@gazolinshitsa Yes and Yes :) 1. you can hook audio in and use output from mix to use sound as source. (and make some tweaks in values etc to be in control more) 2. you can use kinect values from like luma in cutmode videos and hookup tahm as source. I think it would not require lot of work to make it functional.

Hi Bileam love this tutorial!! Currently in the process of completing it, however I have a problem.... when connecting the remap to the lookup I get an error on the remap saying "not enough sources specified" why do you think this is??

Hi Bileam. The thing about the envelope math trick is that it's always finding a normalised value no matter how quiet the music is. So if my music is really quiet, the spectrum shape is still going crazy. Is there a way to have the spectrum shape react differently / grow with the volume of the music? Thanks!
@raultelliskivi4155 Жыл бұрын
Maybe you found out, but connect envelope and math to audiodevice out, then you have volume control from there.
